Actors -  Eriprando Visconti

The career of director and screenwriter Eriprando Visconti never reached the lofty heights of his uncle Luchino Visconti. Though his films were criticized for their uneven quality, the younger Visconti still managed to maintain a two-decade-long career. It was his uncle Luchino who gave Visconti his first movie assignment, that of assistant director on We the Women (1952). Visconti subsequently assisted other directors, including Renato Castellani. In 1955, Visconti wrote his first screenplay for Francesco Maselli's Gli Sbandati. ~ Sandra Brennan, Rovi
