Howard Griffiths was a much-awarded screenwriter for Australian television. Born in Wales and educated at Oxford, Griffiths served with the Royal Air Force during World War II. After the war, he worked for World Book Encyclopedia, which transferred him to Sydney, Australia, in the early '60s. Later in that decade, Griffiths began working in television and went on to write for some of the earliest and most pioneering projects that graced the Australian small screen. ~ Rovi
