Spanish screenwriter/producer Jose Gonzalez-Sinde was best known for his close collaboration with noted filmmaker Jose Luis Garci during the '70s, '80s and '90s. Beginning in 1980 with Long Live the Middle Class, Gonzales-Sinde launched his own directorial career. He later went on to co-found the Spanish Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
