Actors -  Willis Marks

Busy American silent screen actor Willis Marks had made his professional stage debut back in 1888 and was for nine years a member of West Coast entrepreneur Oliver Morosco's famed stock company. Actor/director Marshall Neilan brought him to Hollywood in 1915, where he spent the next two decades playing elderly gents in a wide range of films, including Abraham Lincoln (1924), in which he portrayed William Seward. Marks' career waned after the changeover to sound. ~ Hans J. Wollstein, Rovi
