This is the guiltiest pleasure I've seen in a long while. It's filled of obnoxious characters, low brow humour, a cliche romantic sub-plot, and hasn't got the least bit of respect for women. However for some reason, I fucking kind of love this film. It's a hell of a lot of fun. I agree with Korey when he's says you just get swept up within the party. It brings out the "I don't give a fuck, obnoxious party animal", especially when it gets the third act which I thought made this film entirely. It gets so fucking out of hand and crazy; it becomes genuinely intense and just captivating to watch. Added with an cool as hell soundtrack and some great party montages it's a party movie thats so bad it's becomes good again.

Not to bring age back but I'm 18 and I really didn't like the people who destroyed the house.

Class film, but not good enough pay for. See the extended cut online. Which... I just so happen to have right here! (Don't worry it's not a virus or a scam. I'm not a prick.)

Dumb plot, annoying characters, poor acting,  but damn if it isn't fun.

I wouldn't recommend paying for it though.

I'm 19 and I hated this movie. Probably the worst I've seen this year, and I've seen The Devil Inside.

I'm nearly 20, and I still fucking hate seeing bratty, rich teenagers act like idiots.

Skipping. I hate most party films, so it's a given.

First time in a while I have disagreed with you guys. I've just come back from the cinema and I loved this film so much, I'll be going again on the weekend. It's been so long since I've seen a comedy that made me laugh from start to finish. Honestly I enjoyed both superbad and the hangover (the two films with which project x has the most in common) but felt both films lost alot of steam in the middle third. In this film any time it could have got boring the freaking hilarious security guards came on screen and boom I'm in tears again. Full price for sure. Ignore what you've heard or read people just go see and I promise it'll make you smile (Unless you're older than 25 evedently).

After googling Jonathan Daniel Brown and finding out he was on bangbus for nerd fetish porn, I give my "okay" w to now a "Never in hell will I click on a link".  Once you see his naked body, all you will think about while watching Project X, "Peen" . . . and man boobs.

I'm 21 and I find these kids obnoxious ... this also stands as another example of the media selling a life style society thinks teenagers live, and teenagers only wish they lived. It's very empty and cynical and, y'know what, just like most other films these days, it completely ignores the bigger picture.

And the movie just makes you wonder why you aren't going to a party in the real world haha.  Not much fun watching other people get wasted and having a great time.

Superbadmike -  Movie wasn't good, was amusing near the end when everything goes crazy...  and if you saw the trailer, you should know SWAT teams are involved.  But yes, the movie was annoying personally.  The main character's sidekick is so unfunny and annoying you want to strangle him.  And he never goes away for more then 10 seconds...

This movie should end with the SWAT team busting in and sending all the dumbass kids to jail.

This looks like shit to me. Why would I pay to watch a bunch of annoying ass teenagers acting like idiots? The fact that you guys are comparing it to Superbad is insulting. Superbad was never really about the party or hooking up with random chicks. They knew wich girls they wanted from the start because they where crushing on them ever since they where kids. Superbad was also mostly about the friendship between the 2 guys. This just looks like party porn.

I saw an advanced screening of this. It's nothing more than a series of farcical affectations. All this film tries to do is impress you with a teenage fantasy, which is paradoxical work when they try to film it like a documentary. The biggest flaw of the film is its attempt to rationalize and glorify short sighted, irresponsible behaviour. High school films, especially in the 80's. used to mean something. This film is highly forgettable. Low rental.

LULZ. Watching other people have fun, scoring and getting out of control to a point of a complete neighborhood lockdown rather than being a part of it.
