My mom and my little brother Jean Marco rented A Thousand Words on DVD.

I thought A Thousand Words had a few funny moments that makes it better than Imagine That but it's obviously not as good or funny as Liar Liar.

Why would Nicolas Cage produce a movie like this ?

I give it 2 out of 5 stars. A Rental

I've always hoped for the best with Eddie Murphy. I was happy to see him in Tower Heist and Dream Girls. But I have 0 tolerence for soulless career moves.

Interesting review guys. You had some deep Eddie Murphy issues for when he starred in this, 2008. Since I'm not following his career, is it indicative of his current acting/roles?

I laughed so hard my head hurt! This was so funny, especially when you guys got to our actual reviews. That was the best part.

I really don't think Murphy gives a shit. He still gets paid obscenely well for these crap films - and he's laughing all the way to the bank. Back in 2008 he was the 3rd highest paid celeb after Will Smith and Johnny Depp banking $55 million for trash like Norbit and Dreamgirls, and also voicing Shrek.

So yeah, he ain't too upset. Its us who are the suckers.

It makes me really sad to hear about Clark Duke. I'm with Leon, I really like him and have been hoping for him to succeed. He's never not funny, and he was the only reason I perked up when I saw the commercial for this. Depressing to know that he'll probably be shat on for appearing in this "film".

Korey : "someone is actively trying to kill eddie murphy's career!"

    Yeah...eddie murphy!

can some guru grow a tree in eddie murphys backyard for his career? RULES: everytime he makes an awful piece a shit movie to put on screen, a leaf falls off. instead of a thousand he gets like 5 leaves...and im counting this..and Norbit! So youre down 3 mr murphy. If he gets to zero, he gets catapulted screaming out of hollywood never to be heard from agian.

@Rocket Joe. Say what you want about Charlie Sheen but you can't ever dislike him. At least he's authentic and says what's on his mind. You cannot not like him.
