Why does everybody keep saying it's 'Attack The Block?' It's nothing like it except for the fact that both director's reside in the U.K???

The true way of pronouncing "Pencak Silat" is "Pen - Chalk Sea - Lot"

And prostitution is actually prohibited in Indonesia, If a guy and girl are caught in a hotel without wedding papers, they could be arrested..

Just so you know by the way

I like how leon or Kory said that once the Martial Arts/Kung Fu sets in the film it becomes silly, LOL.. Really bro, silly??? Not!!!!! CGI Robots are silly, Men in masked capes pretending to fight crimes is silly but when Martial Arts is displayed on screen, that is a real performance, Live theater as you will...Hey different strokes for different folks I guess...

Goddamn Leon, can you cool it with the cops? Not all cops are bad, or even the majority.

Again, want to reiterate, I am not saying that your expierences with them did not happen. But seriously, chill out. I mean, you actually want to kill cops for no reason? I get that you guys were joking, but your tone felt a little too serious, like you truly despise anyone who wears a badge.

Thanks for the awesome review! I can not wait to see The Raid. Sadly living in SA I do not think I will ever see a theatre release but I will sure as hell buy it if it comes out on DVD/BluRay.

I was wondering if you guys have seen Breaking News (Dai si gin) and what you thought of that?

Hopefully this movie will influence Indonesian filmmakers to actually make movies other than the horror-sex-comedies movies or American Pie teen-sex-comedies rip-off movies (WITHOUT THE NUDITY OR THE SEX).

But, If this movie is as gory as I think it is. When this movie opens in Indonesia, it will probably be cut down to around 90 minutes.

The original title for this movie is actually "Serbuan Maut" literally means "Death Invasion".

Also, how the fuck Leon knows the legal age in Indonesia is 17?
