This movie was fucking awful, Clash was far better. Never thought I'd say that about Clash, but there you go. Terrible, boring mess of crap.

sam worthington was cgi along with the rest of the film, there is no real actor by that name.

I saw this last night, and as the old saying goes "you can't polish a turd". This movie definitely falls into that category. Though I agree on the point of this is what we should have got back in 2010 over "Clash of the Titans".....we didn't. Rather than access why the first one wasn't that good of a movie these last 2 years the studio copied and pasted everything that made the first movie dull and unmemorable and brought it into this one with prettier graphics and cooler monsters to fight. But the fights are far too few, and the greatness the movie does have doesn't come fast enough to save you from the boredom that the first hour and 20 minutes gives you., Definitely wouldn't tell anybody to spend 10-12 dollars to go see let alone in 3d. *Watched it in 2d*

Also, another thing this movie gets wrong is the Minotaur.  The Minotaur wasn't slain by Perseus but by Theseus.  Tarsem Singh's "Immortals" has a much more tighter greek mythology storyline than these.

    Toe Knee

You are correct.  There hasn't been a single Titan featured until this sequel - which was Cronos.  Technically, the title should be Wrath of the Titan (singular).

Kraken and Meduas have not given birth to any gods, nor are they Titans.

In this review the Spill crew said that there were no Titans in the first movie Clash of the Titans. Now, I don't know much about Greek mythology. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong but, I thought creatures like the Kraken and Medusa were the Titans.

Also, I have not seen the original Clash of the Titans in a long time but, if the Kraken and Medusa are not Titans than the original did not have Titans either.

Speaking of which, I did not like the original Clash of the Titans. I thought it was very boring. Say what you will about the remake, at least it was not as boring as the original. I thought the remake was much better.

indeed sam worthing needs some acting school... or maybe a scorsese film to improve....  i think a scorsese film would probably be the equivelant to film school.

Ares is pissed because Zues has payed more attention to a mortal (perseus) then to him.

Korey.. how did you not know what was going on?

ok so what i got from the movie was That the gods are fading away because people aren't praying to them anymore

Ares and hades betray zues and free Cronos  in order to remain imortal. Perseus and his crew journey to stop them. but they need to find a way into hell so they find haphestus the fallen one to lead them their.

lol.. its not fucking inception or some shit homie.

Saw this with family on Friday, and I was so bored! While the CGI was impressive, it wasn't enough for me to give this movie anything more than a Some Ol' Bullshit!

Just from the trailer alone I could see the God of War influence in this movie. That could be a good thing!

@Dante Webb, Last I check on Amazon, the collection was about $21. God of War 3 costs about $25, also the Origins collection (PSP games) costs around $35-40.

So right now you could pick up both the collection and the third entry for a combined cost of probably $55-60. So it's definitely not a bad deal, what I'd recommend is to check out the costs on Amazon and see if you're getting a better deal than what you're getting at some local Bestbuy, Target, etc.

Or you could subscribe to Gamefly, either way works.

That's an interesting point at the end of the review.

An analogy of that mystery would be: if you engineer a human with the seed of another person and yours, breed it in a special non-organic machine until it's 9 months and take the baby out to further raise it normally, is it your child?
what if it's just your own genetic material? what if it is by altering a previously existing genetic material?

My point is, by following that line of thought, I'm pretty sure you should care the same for a random being on another part of the planet -or galaxy- than your own sibling or parent or child.
And as Jesus is often quoted as saying, "you shall love your neighbor as yourself".

Clash of the Titans was already known in Mexico as Wrath of the Titans (but with a synonym, "Fury", which in english is less closer to "Furia" than "Wrath" is) so they decided to call it Wrath of the Titans 2. It also probably has to be with the fact that many of us enjoyed it for what it was and the brand probably will attract more people than detract them.

Honestly this movie isn't worth the time to go and see in a theater, if you really want something bad-ass that also involves a ton of stuff from Greek mythology - go pick up the God of War collection (including 3).
