I always thought this needed an animated review...

Just watched the movie on Netflix last night and of course I had to come here again and listen to this review...

Damn that was crazy!  Have they ever fought like this before?  And seriously, Cyrus needs to learn how to apologize.  When he says, "I'm sorry if I upset you, by trying to be funny with my disagreeing with you guys about it, and you took it as something much more serious than that, and decided to get insulting with it..."  Taking a lame as hell parting shot at all of them and trying to start the fight right back up!  Seriously, i could formulate a better apology when I was ten!

And when Co-Host says, "If I'm wrong I'm wrong," trying to calm sh*t down, and Cyrus jumps on him, "Yeah, your wrong!"  That was really lame and bitchy of him.
Am I the only one that thought Cyrus was WAY out of line?  Is he always like that, or was he having a bad day or something?

This review is like X-men first class where you're waiting for their relationship to spiral out of control and shit to go down.

Has there been any other reviews where any of these guys have fought like this?

  • August 16, 2012 at 4:47 PM, said ...

Da hell you guys talking about? They had a minor disagreement and got a little argumentative. That's not really true fight. They're fine. I'm sure they shook hands and got over it the minute the review was over.

i hate to see these guys fight. it was all definately a misunderstanding on both sides. Cyrus took it a little too far and Co-host couldve left it alone and let Cyrus pout.

    @Mikeypants

Cyrus was talking about GI Joe at 15:13 where you paraphrased that

Cyrus can get way to wound up in stuff. I think it might be that time of the month for him if you know what i mean.

To me, it went down a bit like this: (part paraphrasing, part direct quotes, emphasis theirs)

CYRUS: This movie "did have one or two honest-to-god fun action sequences in it..." (15:13)
KOREY & CO-HOST: Yeah, it wasn't perfect, in fact it was dumb, but we enjoyed watching it.
    CO-HOST: "It's stupid eye candy." (16:53)
CYRUS: "I can't agree" ... "There is not a single sequence in this entire film where I went 'okay that was fun.' There was nothing fun that happened in this movie." (17:18)
KOREY: Okay, we get it. You didn't like it. Here's my opinion: This movie knows what it's trying to be, a B-level film that plays with the tropes of the genre. It's no way near as good as those other films. "I do not think it was a good film, but it was a fun film." (20:35)
CYRUS: "I'm not dumb, Korey." (21:25) You're not listening to me! I don't care about your opinion. I said I didn't find it fun! Why won't you not acknowledging that I hate this movie? "You sound like a 12-year-old troll on the site!" (22:35) Leave me alone! Stop attacking my opinion! etc...

It all seemed fun and jokey up until 21:25 when Cyrus, still stewing over Co-hosts light-hearted jabs, loses his shit. It took a few listens to work out where things went wrong, but in the end it was just a misunderstanding in the moment that I hope doesn't tarnish any friendship the two might have had.
