This is still my favorite movie of the year. Every joke hit and if you can't laugh at sexism and racism and you can't laugh at America then maybe the movie is not for you. He learned from Bruno nobody liked that movie he went too far it was terrible. This movie is the perfect amount of funny to offensive meaning Nothing should offend you in this movie as it is all clearly jokes but they are all highly sexist / racist. I would defiantly watch this movie, the speech at the end of the movie was really moving for me and caught me off guard. It was great absolutely well done and thought out.

Wow, it's like 30mins of the Spill Crew sucking Sacha Baron Cohen's dick while insulting his movie at the same time.

Did this Aladeen and Tahir (Kingsley) actually have a showdown in some other sense?  And Aladeen wins and makes a speech or does Kingsley's character want to overthrow Aladeen because he thinks he'd be more of a reasonable leader for the people of Wadiya?

@Dan Smith. Super had a rape scene. Though i wouldn't call it funny (her excuse was funny). There's a show called Peep Show which has a hilarious rape scene (i know that sounds bad) But you'd understand if you'd seen it.

How did Borat draw out racism and sexism in Americans? Didn’t Sacha bring a fat black prostitute to a dinner party in that movie? I don’t think that was evidence of racism when the attendees left, more about the noxious dispersal effect of uncouthly dressed hookers within decorous gatherings. I didn’t watch the entire movie though.

Now I’m curious about this speech. I’m wondering if any of you just took it up as emotional fodder. American self-flagellation is pretty de rigueur today and easy to supinely accept, but plenty of the popular censure directed toward the US that I’ve either read or heard is completely trite and laughably inaccurate; wondering if his speech is more of the same. Did he go on about war for oil or US hegemony? Oh god…I’ll just have to find it on YouTube after the DVD comes out.

Wtf is wrong with you Dan Smith. Sounds a little desperate the way you carry on about a rape scene.

I am honestly curious Co Host cause I watch a lot of fucked up movies.  It's kind of my thing.  You made the comment "We've all watched people get raped and laughed at it" and I would just like to know what movie your referencing.  I understand if you were just talking and it it was part of the natural flow, but if you actually saw that happen in a comical way I'd like to see what they did and how they did it.  Again, I'm not saying your wrong or that it didn't happen or that you shouldn't of said it,  I just want to know what movie you saw or if you just said it and don't have a movie to back it up.  Both answers are fine.

The funny thing is kazakhstan's tourism went through the roof after borat. They were initially pissed off but after the money started coming in they were like wellll he's not that bad.
