    @MahMahAfro

    Way to exaggerate. The Beaver is not even close to being one of the biggest flops in history.

    Well, they all universally loved Carnage. I personally consider child rape/molestation a much more grievous offense than being a drunken racist.

    I'm surprised there was not one mention of The Beaver in this whole review! Just shows how fucked up Mels personal life is that the fact his last movie was one of the biggest flops in cinema history doesn't even get a mention.

    I understand why people are not a fan of mel gibson, but i love his movies especially his early movies. When i see his movies i usually forget about his real life problems and get caught up in the character, so if this movie does that then it sound cool.

    Man the film angel and devil on my shoulders are having such a brawl right now to decide if I should see this, because it does sound pretty decent and worth a look, but on the other hand... well you know.

    Hmmm.. should people separate the person from his movies? Or do movies change an opinion of a person?

    Mel Gibson as a person is a lot like his film Passion of the Christ.  There is clearly talent and passion in the film but what the fuck did I just watched.

    Oh well at least he left behind a dozen great films.  Lethal Weapon is my favorite Buddy-Cop movie ever (expect the Blu-Ray review in the next Remote Viewing Episode from Cyrus).

    @zware Your right, but we went on this discussion a while a go. Go back to some of the ACOCO episodes if you havn't. Besides, Hollywood only picks on what makes them popular. Mel Gibson was perfect pickings for hollywood (or any other form of mass media) To get a nice quick buck and say "Look, this guy is doing what is deemed as wrong! We should be entertained by his hate!" Its always bee like that and it won't end any time soon.

    I still like Mel Gibson. despite his personal problems, I did grow up with Mad Max

    I find Hollywood completely hypocritical. Yes, Mel Gibson is an asshole but as far as we know he's just an angry racist not a child molester yet actors will go over seas to make films with people like Roman Polanski and people will still make movies with Woody Allen. Is he a good guy HELL NO however its an extreme double standard. Who gives a shit if he's a bad guy I do not go to the theater to see Mel Gibson I go to see who Mel Gibson is portraying if he is entertaining me what does it matter what he thinks.
