Did you guys fell asleep during MIB3 ? I mean, i agree it wasnt the best of the series...but they DID explained what happened to agent K, so for all of you to say they forgot about this, and it's a plothole  seems like ya did not paid any attention to the movie.

This movie isn't great but it's worth a matinee. It was fun and entertaining. Sometimes I think you guys would rather bag on a film than give a decent review lol. This review won't cause any big riff between you and the Spillos so in the end who really cares. If you're a Spillo that really wants to watch it just do it but go during Matinee hours. You won't leave mad.

    "What happened to you man??............"

    Spoilers

Agent K witnessed J's Dad die at the hands of a villain he could have killed. He's been carrying the guilt ever since which is why he's a miserable old man. I thought that was obvious.

One day, one day there will be a black Doctor Who, there was an actor who was black that was rumoured before Matt Smith.

Sounds like you guys were reflecting some insecurities about aging on to Will Smith here. Who cares if Will Smith has some crow's feet? What's the problem with that. Does is make you feel better about growing old knowing Will Smith is too? Did you expect him not to age, are celebrities not allowed to do so? That whole bit about his age was the most pointless shit ever.

    p.s.

why the fuck did they kill off Nicole Sherzinger in the 1st 5 min? they should have had her as the evil romance with Boris the Animal

the movie didn't blow me away but still fun and more tolerable than #2

Josh Brolin's performance was terrific and these are some of the best effects Ive seen

there should have been more alien ass-kicking in this though

What the HELL did they spend that budget on?  Must have been on Will's salary because those special effects looked like SHIT!!!!!

Man I was super disappointed when I left the theater. This never really felt like a MIB movie similar to the first. Aside from the Andy Warhol scene, It all seemed rushed and half baked for the most part. And am I the only one who kept seeing Macho Man Randy Savage as the villain? That was crazy.

I'm still going to go see this movie still just because my nostalgia goggles are still on!

Actually from what I've heard from different reviewers a lot of people like this one as it is better than 2 but not as good as 1!  The whole 1st 10-20mins being bad is universal but the rest is very enjoyable from wha tI;ve heard so I'll still give it a shot!

You know what I'd like to see in a 4th movie if they do it!?  The original plot to the original comics that they loosely did in the animated series.  A rogue former MiB agent called Agent-X who like most MiB villains wants to take over the world only difference being for once is he IS HUMAN(granted in the cartoon he had secretly over the years had surgeries to have alien tech and organs added to his body to make himself a superhuman.  which was very cewl since he was like a 90 year old man that acted like the Terminator!) and his 1st act in his mater plan(which is also for one more complicated than just get his "McGuffin": to some place by an exact time) is he exposes the MiB to the world(in the cartoon they didn't do that part) but that would really be formula changing MiB movie!

I am a huge fan of the 1st movie and I'm one of the few who like the 2nd one, but I agree with you guys on this one and on most of the points you made, the Factory scene was pretty funny but other than that there wasn't anything else except the actual aliens, Josh Brolin's Tommy Lee impression, and a few minor laughs here and there. They did explain the whole what happened to K thing it was just incredibly stupid. So yeah I would just leave this at a rental.

I seen this yesterday and I was a little worried at first (to be honest). Mostly because it seemed like Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones had no chemistry after working together on now three movies!! Movie really picked up in the 2nd act when we get to see a young Agent K played by Josh Brolin! Who in my book saved this film! I say Men In Black 3 is like enjoying a nice countryside drive, lol! Plus the ending was very sentimentally and a perfect way to end the franchises!

This is definitely a full price movie and I would go see it again in theaters but as good as it is, I wonder if anyone realized there was a GIGANTIC FUCKING PLOTHOLE IN THE STORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the only thing that they really miss on is Ks relationship with another character which can be tossed by referencing the events in mib 2 where they have him get a kid in what was supposed to be 1977.

the change of K is sort of on a "really that changed you that much" which i think is a flaw in decisions of jokes where they could have played with Ks personality more. still i bought it, it was not like he was being portrayed as a character from animal house just a looser happier version.

I just got back from it.  I worked at the Men in Black ride while I was in college down in Orlando so I'm kind of a fan boy when it comes to this franchise.

I enjoyed the movie.  It wasn't a masterpiece or anything but it was entertaining and far superior to MiB 2.  I though the first Act was a little slow and a lot of the jokes were missing the mark but once Smith goes back in time the movie gets much better (which is weird considering they didn't have anything written in the 2nd or 3rd act when production began).

I thought the villain was creepy as hell...but then there were some scenes that involved laughing that went too long and just made him too comically evil instead of a bad ass.

I liked the twist at the end although I still don't really get why K "changed."

@ mike brown i am with you man. i just got done watching it and i am listening to the review going come on guys it was not hand fed this is exactly why K doesn't do this this an this in the future but i thought K's character was aptly described with the resolution tied the movie and the original all together very nicely.

i am a little torn between full price and matinee cause i do agree the humor was off and if they had fleshed out some of Ks quirks and stoicism they could have had more fun and given brolin more to do. still i loved the movie the action was really cool, and it answers a question from the first.

    FULL PRICE
