I agree with Noodle J.T. here. It felt like it was trying too hard at points, it didn't have the clarity or attention that The Princess and the Frog had.  Overall, it was enjoyable, and had some great moments. :)  It's not quite up to standard, but it's a step in the right direction for Disney. :)

I saw the movie some time ago, and I thought it was pretty good. It's not a an epic, classic thing, but good all the same. :)

I was actually disappointed with the movie. I love these type of Disney movies, but this just rubbed me the wrong way. I wasn't too crazy about the 3D or the animation (not that it's bad, it just didn't impress me), I thought the characters were bland (Flynn's just Aladdin with less depth and likability), and the songs felt shoehorned in (even my dad, who loves musicals, bursts into song on a regular basis, even groaned at the songs). A few moments made me chuckle, but it wasn't consistent enough. I did enjoy the dynamic between Flynn and Maximus, but that was underused.

Your audio reviews sound high pitched - like chipmunks when I play them on my android phone. Anyone else having this problem?

Someone said changing the name "Rapunzel' to "Tangled" is like changing "The Little Mermaid" to "Beached"

i was surprised in this Movie...it isn't as good as Princess and the Frog...the songs in this was pretty terrible and unforgettable.but I do like it as a solid storytelling Movie. The hair is beautifully animated and character designs are fairly done. best scenes are the tense climactic 3rd half... enjoyable family Movie. I'm from the United Kingdom so i can't see it in 3D till nextyear.....Low Full Price....xx

I saw this with my girlfriend today. We both loved it. That horse was hilarious and the Vikings musical scene was hilarious!

I'd like to point out that Alan Menken writes the music and the lyrics are from a collaborator that he's been working with fairly recently. I don't really like the lyrics I've heard from him. Can't wait to see the movie and judge for myself.

I watched this movie the other day it was BETTER and more enjoyable than Megamind. But the songs are forgettable.

I saw the film two days ago. If you're seeing it in 3D, it's a high matinee. If not, it's a low full price.
