Leon is absolutely dead wrong about the style thing. Believe it or not, Madagascar was actually somewhat of a breakthrough in CG animation. The intent of Madagascar's animation was to recreate the toony goodness of the 2-D hand-drawn goodness of Looney Tunes in the CG world. Specifically, Madagascar was the first major CG movie with what they called "stretch and squash" characters for the purpose of slapstick.

As for the movie itself, I felt about this the same way you summarized Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Slayer. That is to say that it's not a movie anyone went to expending "Pixar quality" animation (I put that in quotations because Pixar doesn't have it anymore); I was only expecting to have a good time. And I had a great time. This is the movie in the series where the writers said "Screw it, lets just have fun and go nuts with this." And that's what made it work.

I'd give this a High Matinee, IE: Worth the full price, but just as enjoyable on the small screen.

Saw the movie last Wednesday, and I loved it. If this is the final one, they went out on a high note.

Funniest review in a long time. I love the part when cyrus says co-host sucks to which he replies "fuck you". I want to see this movie.

This was going to be a Matine for me, but after that Katy Perry Firework Circus scene it had to be a Full Price!

I was laughing my butt off at work throughout the entire weekend just thinking about Leon having to mime out the movie to get inside. Guys never forget how much you make this whole community crack up and how much better you make our days with reviews like this.

I'm really glad to hear you guys liked this. However, I'm still going to be hanging my head when that Afro scene comes on.

Madagascar 3 Europe's Most Wanted has a very funny and creative story written by Eric Darnell and Noah Baumbach about the animals joining a traveling curcis in hopes of getting home to The Central Park Zoo in New York City and helping the other animal performers along the way but they also have to escape from the evil Animal Control officer Captain Chantel DuBois who wants them dead as trophies on her wall.

The movie has great voice acting performances from Ben Stiller as the voice of Alex the Lion, Chris Rock as the voice of Marty the Zebra, David Schwimmer as the voice of Melman the Giraffe, Jada Pinkett Smith as the voice of Gloria the Hippopotamus, Sacha Baron Cohen as the voice of King Julien XIII the Ring-tailed Lemur, Cedric the Entertainer as the voice of Maurice the Aye-aye, Andy Richter as the voice of Mort the Mouse Lemur, Bryan Cranston as Vitaly the Russian Tiger, Jessica Chastain as Gia the Jaguar, Martin Short as Stefano the Sea Lion and the rest of the wonderful cast.

Madagascar 3 Europe's Most Wanted is directed by Eric Darnell, Tom McGrath and Conrad Vernon and I thought they directed this movie with an amazing touch that reminded me of the very energtic touch of the first movie.

I thought that the animation in Madagascar 3 Europe's Most Wanted that was created by the animators at Dreamworks Animation looked fresh, cartoony-looking, colorful and a little bit realistic. The 3D is also used very effective as Dreamworks Animation used it in Megamind.

Movie composer Hans Zimmer creates some charming and entertaining music for Madagascar 3 Europe's Most Wanted.

I liked the wonderful message in Madagascar 3 Europe's Most Wanted which is about Alex, Marty, Melman and Gloria learning to remember the past the way they want and enjoy that new things that is going on in their life because the past may not be as great as it first seemed.

As it turns out my mom, Jean Marco and I enjoyed watching Madagascar 3 Europe's Most Wanted in 3D. Just like Toy Story 3 I thought Madagascar 3 Europe's Most Wanted was a perfect, extremely funny and touching conclusion to an outstanding and funny movie series that made my childhood a memorable adventure.

I give Madagascar 3 Europe's Most Wanted 5 out of 5 stars and I hope you enjoy Madagascar 3 Europe's Most Wanted.

I took my nephew but didn't watch it in 3d. Kinda wished I did cuz that light show was crazy. Like cyrus, I've never watched the first 2 but was really entertained by this.
