  I love the burlesque and cabaret scene, but honestly... I don't think this movie is as educated about the genre as they should be. The film doesn't look horrible though. It just looks... more like Showgirls: The Redux than a movie about the art of burlesque. Burlesque is a very beautiful, exotic and classy form of erotic dance that includes more than just the glitter and feathers like this movie seems to make it. I might go see this movie just to jot down notes and compare, maybe write up a review in conclusion. But great review from you folks of course. <3

  Allen Cumming was there because he's done alot of off and off broadway burlesque shows such as caberett. Though it's odd they didn't do anything with him.
