You've defeated the troll. You're my hero! Seriously though, that guy was a pain in the ass. I'm glad you booted him.

Ruben, that's exactly how I felt.  What's Bourne without Carlos?

I'm trying to think back on if Leon and Co Host did a review on their own before... and I can't remember any. Going from that, I think you guys should do this a bit more of this in the future, you work really well together, I had a good time listening to this. :)

I felt that the premise of Aaron Cross just running is boring. He needs to have an actual mission. All they take from the books are the titles. I would love for the character to prevent a domestic massacre, terrorist kidnapping or a President assassination. Enough of Hollywood`s obsession with U.S. govt. conspiracy. I`m tired of America being depicted as its own worse enemy. They do this in the Mission Impossible movies all the time.except for the last one. We spend the entire film chasing someone we trained. Is Hollywood afraid to use one of the current Amerca foes like al kaida or Russia, North Korea or China? Has it become so politically correct that its afraid to offend anyone, even those on the FBI watchlist.

Yeah the Bourne Legacy was suppose to be about Jason Bourne, but the real problem is that the book it was based on was not written by Robert Ludlum, He only wrote 3 Bourne novels and died before the first movie was in the works. I guess because of the popularity of the movies, they decided to continue with Jason bournes adventures in the novels. I've only seen part 1 and a little bit of 2 and 3 and stopped caring cause they really changed it from the original novels to a point were I believe they took out the original villain from the series, who is an assassin like bourne and he is just as good. But hey, Hollywood thinks they know everything.

After the original Bourne and serveral season of 24. I believe audiences were feeling that bond with his machine gun invisible cars were ridiculous. Here were two agents that accomplished a lot with maritial arts, a cell phone and whatever was at hand. No villians with super agendas living in elaborate lairs that were built with no one noticing. Made of Ice, in a volcano or hidden under the sea. We want an agent that was wee more plausible. Jason Bourne and Jack Bauer were very much responsible for James Bond being relaunched. And a very successful relaunch. Now when a character is that well recieved Hollywood has to try to keep the franchise alive. Some say why not do a James Bond thing and get the new actor just take over the role of Jason Bourne. (what`s with the initials J.B.) instead of having lightening strike again with Aaron Cross.

Love this and the other two Leon/CoHost reviews.  I was never into any of these Bourne movies since the first one decided to throw out anything close to Ludlum after the first half hour.  I much preferred the tv movie with Richard Chamberlain and Jacklyn Smith which only deviated from one section of the book.  I also made the mistake of seeing The Minority Report 2 1/2 hours before seeingThe Bourne Identity and craft-wise the latter paled against the former.  DOn't know why I typed all that other than I just wanted to belong.
