  Thanks Leon. I watched Southland Tales because of this review. I'm embarrassed to say I enjoyed it. It was hilarious. I'll pass on this movie though. I can deal with time travel nonsense, but fighting Coke ads is a bit much.

  The trailer has such a Japanese horror film WTF feeling (thinking "Uzumaki") that I would have been intrigued if I had not heard the review.  If the movie is that bad, then whoever edited that trailer deserves a raise.

  Wow, the movie must be a description of the ad campaign.  I was so interested in seeing it.  It looked like it would be like demons ran the world of They Live, and battled for souls.  But, they bungled it.  Argh!
