    I came into this film after seeing the trailer thinking it was going to be some ole bullshit and I came out giving it a high Full Price. I can't believe how entertaining this film was. The best female comedy since Bridesmaids

    I love Rebel Wilson and she was the driving reason why I saw this! I like her for the same reason I enjoy listening to LDT hilarious and quotable :)

    I love Brian and puns! He's the new Grant, in that I wasn't crazy about him at first, but he's really grown on me recently.

    Guys, if you liked this, then you should seriously watch the first 13 episodes of Glee season 1. Because everything you described that made this movie good is in those episodes. Don't watch anything after because it gets worse and worse. I'm glad you guys finaly liked a musical.

    @cat

    Agree with everything you said, Glee has gotten really soapy and overly drmatic, but Lea Michele is too god damned good to not watch so I'm still sticking with it.

    Wow, Rebel Wilson is really getting around!

    Brian, the Acafellas? Joke made on season 1 of Glee. There was an all male singing group made up of teachers that called themselves the Acafellas.

    I really wanted to see this as soon as I saw the trailers. Glad you approve. I grew up doing choirs and musical theater and this has the same mean-spirited off kilter humor I love from Glee. Granted, Glee has gotten away from that and gone much farther in the melodrama direction but as long as Lea Michele is on that show, I will continue to watch.

    I was honestly hoping for a Rock of Ages style bashing for this, oh well

    I wanted to hear the review before seeing it, but I liked this movie. It was a solid film, decent comedy. also It isn't glee(infact it makes fun of glee) and it knows its ridicilous (the annoucers of the competition make fun of it left and right) and has that "bridesmaids"-ish vibe to it in a setting. All the wile being an okay romance story. I give it a matinee if you don't mind the premise. Now if you'd acca-scuse me!(A running gag is the head girl of the group uses words where she says "acca" in front of a word.)

    Is this Glee at University?

    It rhymes! Wooo!

    I was never much of a fan of Glee. Glee is not a bad show. It's just not my cup of tea.
