Not much of a spoiler here...

I love how the f***ing laptops have no gloss whatsover, because the kid would almost certainly would've noticed that someone was behind him because of the reflection.

I just came back from a screening of PA4 and well... When I saw the end credits a couple behind me said to each other exactly what I was thinkin': "When was the movie actually going to start?"
It never did. Personally, I don't know what I saw tonight. Nothing happened.
The first two films were OK-ish, PA 3, while I felt it was the dullest of the three films it was actually scary, especially towards in the third act, but this one when stacked up against the other three, it's easily the worst one. And it has about the same production budget as the others. This was just so horribly formulaic and all of it's attemped jumpscares fall short when compared to the other films. They weren't even trying.
PA1 had a somewhat interesting couple, PA 2 had a family that was fun to be around, PA3 actually had a cast that I liked, but this one, the family was an afterthought, I did not care about anything that happened to anyone.
The other three films, as bad as they were, at least had something and even the bad parts were at least amusing to talk about. The charm of PA's less engrossing and cheesy parts is that you have a blast talking to your friends and picking apart what was so bad about it. I just can't do that, the slow parts were just boring, nothing to make fun about, nothing that's worth making even the vaguest sarcastic comment.
The PA franchise has run it's course...

I never watch a PAranormal Activity movie because I always found it bullshit (pay to see a ghost torment people in a movie. Something anyone can see by watching any billion of paranormal shows or ghost shows they air on regular tv). When I saw the trailer for the 4th movie I was like "WTF! Didn't they come out with a third movie not long ago"!

Oops, when I was talking about Katie, I meant the blond teenage girl in the movie.

The only reason I watch this movie, because its a little inserting. You guy are right about the ghost fucking around most of time, until it start killing the family. The ghost or demon is stronger than it was in the other 3 movies. Also, I don't care were the cameras or who's holding it. As long as I can see what's happen I don't care how its filmed. The ending is not same, there's a whole fucking army of possessed women appearing to either kill Katie or make her one of them. I would rate this movie a some old bullshit.

Also, where the fuck the the camera with the night vision come from at the end?

The movie is boring as fuck I aint going to lie. As for the ending. I get what you're saying about it being the same ending. You're right. It is, but I will admit listening to the audience reactions was the best. I walked out and I swear to god a black guy ran out the theater screaming "that bitch is fuckin' stupid." He and I were both laughing about it and talking about how stupid the white girl went into the Haunted house walking out of the theater. I will admit it through me by surprise, just because it was so bizzare and so fast. The "Plot twist" doesn't make any God Damn sense. And it was BORING as fuck. I say if you just want something to creep you out. Watch the last two minutes of it, on youtube, turn off the lights, take drugs (lol jk don't recommend drugs to the young kids out there, those who are already taking drugs I am talking to) turn the video full screen on your computer and watch that. Save you time and money.

after each movie leaving so many questions without truly resolving anthing. All I can say is F this. The paranormal series have stuck to the same BS without improving at all. I hope this series just ends to save people from its continued BS.

I've seen scarier shit on Nickelodeon which looks like where they got these kids from. My friends where jumping and the cheap jump scares while I sat there waiting for it to end. It made like $30 million at the box office this past weekend? WOW! people really are SHEEP!

Anyone else think these movies would be so much better if Dean & Sam Winchester kicked the front doors down & kicked some paranormal ass?

I love laughing at these but I kinda got hype after they added a story and background plot to this series. But This movie is SOOOOOOOOOO useless. This movie could never happened. SPOILER Hunter is with another family, WHYYYY!

It's true that there's nothing we haven't seen before, but here's the thing: I like the premise of these movies, and none of them are good enough to re-watch when Halloween rolls around again the next year. So this way, you're able to sort of re-watch the movie every year and enjoy it again, without having to literally watch any of them again.
The two (spoiler) things that really really bothered me about this movie:1) The little boy being Hunter literally did not make any sense. Katie disappeared with him, they tell us right on screen, so why does this other family suddenly have him?2) That was like a hundred witches at the end, and there were maybe five cars outside that house.

I liked PA3, but after they said nothing happens and it's the same bullshit as the last movies, then fuck no I aint seeing this!!!

I was not going to see this at first, but I got dragged to it. What I see is the same as most everyone here. we all go just to watch it with other people in the theater. Tons of plot holes, lazy story and same jump scares and tricks. I will say that I thought it was decently funny and the acting didn't matter (as if it ever does in these movies). The directors seem to be in on the joke with these movies. I thought it was mildly self aware.

Not sure how good your speech did Korey, because Paranormal Activity 4 made $56,700,000 at the Box Office. Thankfully, it did less than it's predecessors on opening day, so I hope it did something.
