  I haven't seen it yet. But my friend Mike told me the fight scenes were way too cheesy. They should have gotten Yeun Woo Ping to do the fight choreography. I'll still go see it but I ain't payin' for it.

  I enjoyed this movie but it was a terrible movie. It felt like RZA was trying to do a good homage to his favorite films while writing and filming the movie, then he realized that he was a terrible writer and director so he tried to make it look like he did it on purpose.

  This is a bad Rental. As much as RZA loves kung-fu movies I'm surprised that this movie lacked so much in the kung-fu fighting department. Jackie Chan, Gordon Liu, Jet Li, Ton Jaa, and hell even Jason Statham and the Bourne movies had full fight sequences where the actors and fight choreagraphers could show their stuff. THIS movie is severely lacking in that department. Btw, the Afro Samurai series had more in the way of action, music, attitude, sex appeal, violence, character development and even dialogue and acting compared to this film. And it's animated. RZA worked on that series but unfortunately he didn't bring much of that over into this film. As a first film this is okay but much more could have been done.

  No doubt this is the worst movie I've seen this year hands down. the camera work was just an unspeakable mess. The score was not good at all. Now the quesiton is what does this mean for his Bobby Digital movie???

  Love Brian, love RZA as a rapper, love kung-fu throwbacks, Hate this movie.  One word: Amateur.  It was so bad 6 people in my theater walked out and I wanted to join them; if it wasn't for Rick Yune, Byron Mann, and Dave Bautista injecting the only charisma this movie had, I'd have left.  And, the flashback scenes insulted my intelligence.

  I like this movie, but  story is all over the place and some of actors, acted in a weird way. Also the actors just aren't that good at acting in this movie. I would give this a matinee, because mainly for the fight scenes, the sound track was good,and weapons in this movie looked great, and make the characters look like bad-ass killers.

  bummer. I thought it looked cool. They had some interesting weapons and stuff. The trailer looked cool but by the sounds of it, It's pretty rough. Might catch it on tv but I only go to the theater for stuff i'm exited for or stuff I  know is good.

  haha, korey called gza the geeza! that shit had me rolling, but yo, rza isnt really known for being a great mc, he's known more for his production. like his production on 36 chambers, liquid swords, and cuban links is crazy!
