Strange, did not know this was based on the same guy in Payback/Point Blank - Lee Marvin's character in Point Blank was called Walker though, so I'm guessin this Statham flick is pretty far removed from Boormans existential surreal crime classic. Still really wanna see it though, always been a big fan of the Stath'l, glad he's gettin a classier vehicle than usual.

There was another parker movie; Full Contact. Starring Chow yun fat. Same premise as the other parker stories, only instead of stealing money, its weapons. I would consider this film the best of the parker stories in that the violence is more brutal and gruesome and Chow yun fat is a great Parker.

Typical Stathem film, nothing more or less. Dosen't mean it's bad, just okay or decent.

Lee Marvin played Lee Marvin, Robert Duvall is the best Parker so far.

To hell with JLO man! her ass hasnt been relevant since Anaconda!

This is the worst pairing of JLO and another actor since UTURN - and that movie actually showed her TITS and her having softcore porn with Sean Penn!

@Arsène Lupin the Third, the best interpretation of Parker is, so far, Mel Gibson in the director's cut of Payback.  It's a completely different film from the theatrical cut and most of it actually follows the book, including the end.  And Kris Kristofferson isn't in the director's cut version of the film. :O)
