Its a shame to hear this isn't very good.  I got to work on this... shit, it was like 4 years ago (before the lawsuits when an other studio was doing the work) and it looked like it was going to be a hoot. Nice to see some of the assets I helped with made it through to the finished product, but no idea what or if they changed anything

You know, I recently bought the last season/volume of Animaniacs as well as a few Tiny Toons DVDs, and fuck, I forget how much it plays to the mature audience as it does to the kids. There are jokes that would have gone over my head six years ago, but now, I totally get them. And I still laughed at the kids jokes.......

Anyway, I hate the conception that kids things need to be dumbed down for them because 'they won't understand it'. They may not be as smart or had enough life experience as adults, but they're not brain dead, and that's insulting to people with brain injuries.

editor's note: first line to read: "frustrated both by MY OWN children's constant querulousness" ;-)

I am an all-too-regularly-frustrated parent--frustrated both by children's constant querulousness, and the entertainment industry's tone-deaf portrayals of parent-child relationships--does no one in Hollywood ACTUALLY RAISE KIDS? As such, I LOVE IT when Leon calls bullshit on unbelievable, and/or overly disrespectful kids in movies.  I live vicariously through your vitriol, good sir!
