    It's funny how you all talk about Terrance Howard talk in the movie. Jamie Foxx said the exact same thing a few years ago on his radio on how he plays the same character in every movie.

    tons of great acting from both of the leads
    Colin Farrell and Noomi Rapace come together by the desire for revenge
    they both want to get back at the people whom have left them scarred and ruined
    he's lost his family and she has lost her face
    I almost fell asleep halfway through because there is absolutely nothing happening to get you invested
    it takes a freaking eternity to get things moving, it's not that the plot is hard to follow but oh boy, do they take their sweet time having these characters get twhat they want
    I like all these actors including Terrence Howard
    the only thing I really enjoyed was the climax at the end, that at least kept me interested because it tries to wrap everything up
    Oplev who did the original 'Girl With The Dragon Tattoo' was actually a good movie and had fast pacing and suspense, unfortunately here he just tries too hard making up plot twists, stupid doublecrosses and barely any emotional ressonance
    not something I want to watch repeatedly for a long time....

    I am loving Noomi Rapace more and more now these days, she chooses a few good dramatic roles

     part of me understands what they're saying about this film, but if you'd like a second opinion from someone who actually really enjoyed the film, listen to this. They touch upon the same points.

    I think Noomi is a fine actress, but I find myself being annoyed every time I see her. Her voice, her facial expressions... she looks like she's holding a skull in her hand and screaming "ACTING!!!"

    She just bothers me.

    @SpillCrew First, it was Dominic COOPER, not West that played Farrell's best friend. Second, Terrence Howard was working for Albanians, not Italians. Lastly, ever since Phone Booth I thought Colin Farrell was a great actor.

    I saw this last night and I was wide awake to see everything turn out the way it did. I didn't mind having it slow and contemplative and seeing how Farrell would get away with this but had they trimmed that Noomi Rapace subplot and focused a little more on Howard and Cooper than it would be a little better. But what I got was alright and I'd say matinee.

    I was conflicted on this one... the trailer seemed dull, but I liked everyone involved.  Sounds like I'll be catching this next month on Netflix.

    I really enjoyed this movie. The slow moments were filled with good dialogue and set up both Farrell and Rapace's characters. The ending was very abrupt though.

    You mean both Farrell and Howard are down, Howard repulsed by IronMan and poor Farrell is just no chemistry for the masses.

    I really like Colin Farrell, but he did the same thing Jonathan Rhys Myers did to his career...He drowned it in Bushmills and Guinness then set it on fire. The trailer had me a bit excited, but luckily I have my boys on the Spill Crew to hold it down so I don't have to waste my money.

    I liked Farrell in Seven Psychopaths, and Horrible Bosses. Those are the two most recent films I can think of that I liked him in.

    I thought in Bruge was big, or was it only here in the UK, Ireland and Europe?

    Colin Farrell just came off the pretty fantastic Seven Psychopaths so at least he's done something worthwhile this year, terrence howard came off...of oh yeah Movie 43 and Red Tails. I call racism by Korey and Leon...keeping an Irish brother down.

    @Korey

    The mafia has made man  who have to be 100% Italian and associates who don't have to be Italians so I am guessing Terrence Howard was an associate of a mafia families but the only I found  weird is there was no Latino, African-American or Asian person on his crew

    The movie sounds like what would happen if you told Judd Appatow to direct an action film.

    "She drops a bomb on him and.. *screech*  It's a scene that you don't see coming."  Really, Spill?  You guys posted the trailer to this film on your website and I watched it, and that scene is in the damn trailer.  I even thought that the entire film was going to be about that one plot point.  But listening to your review (which I rarely do nowadays) it seems like this is a different film than the trailer's originally entailed.

    @Dr.Horrible, who?
