Every time that Leon says that a movie is good, they should say 'This is coming from the guy that almost gave a INCEPTION a rental'

I too finally saw this, and DAMN...awesome, but feels a little like "The Matrix" mixed with "The Cell" -- and a little "Assassin's Creed."

I just re-watched this and while I liked it more the second time around, I still can't bring myself to love it for one simple reason. There's no real human connection. Except for Cobb (who, let's face it, is a selfish dick) they're all types rather than characters.

This is one of my favorite movies of the last 20 years. If I made a list of the 3 best movies of the last two decades it would be this: 1. Pulp Fiction 2. Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind 3. Inception

@Salvo I agree. I enjoyed this film very much. Leonardo DiCaprio was excellent in his role.

On par with the Dark Knight. Leonardo DiCaprio has redeemed himself of his pretty boy status. No complaints from me about the length, or the extensive exposition. As Cyrus said, it's a tight film. Nolan could make a five hour movie, and if every minute of it contained the same tension and wonder that this movie as well as the Dark Knight had, it'd be a work of fucking art. Leon...what the fuck, man? I mean, I could forgive you if you just give it a plain old matinee. You're entitled to your opinion, right? But a LOW matinee? That's only a step above a rental!

This movie seriously felt like only 1 hour and 30 minutes or something, I wish they'd throw in more character developement however it was extreamly awesome, truly one of the best of 2010, still I was confused at some parts, I might consider rewatching it.

Inception is a highly original and creative film. I've seen the film two times and must say that I enjoyed both trips to the theatre. However after seeing it the second time, I must admit the film is flawed. My main issue with the film isn't that it's confusing because it's not. The problem is that the movie never gives the audience time to absorb the neccessary info to understand everything. The movie is constantly moving from how shared dreaming works, to mentioning safes, then explaining totems, kicks, and time within dreams. And all of that happens in the first half of the film. Then the concept of limbo is thrown out at the audience that's still trying to piece together the stuff that happened 30 minutes prior. It's not until the audience leaves the theatre that they have the time to really think about the film. That's why so many people see it twice. My second problem is common in a lot of action films and may be minor to some but is a major annoyance to me. The projections take thousands of shots, and only one bullet finds its target. How inaccurate can a human' sub-conscious be? In some of the scenes, specifically the cab shootout, there are projections unloading lead from less than 10 feet away. So because I am lead to believe that people can share dreams, I also have to believe that its possible to miss that many times? Whatever. Overall, I would heavily recommend seeing this movie not just once. By seeing it twice you are able to better grasp the ideas and concepts involved in the film, making for a better experience.

Very good Film. Everyone should watch it at least once. It dragged on in some parts. I liked what they did with the gravity shots. I hope more films dont start picking up these endings, once in awhile is fine, but can you imagine every movie ending like this?!

I was amazed when I walked out, how a film that's so complex with so many layers and ideas was so easy to follow. A testiment to the writing talent and years of work to create a polished article.

I know Nolan would never make a sequel, it would kill the purpose of the entire film, unacceptable idea.

I don't really understand why people find it so confusing. I just saw it a couple of hours ago. I did have to focus but it wasn't that hard to get it to the point where I need to see it a second time to understand it. I don't think anyone explained it too many times. It was convoluted but not overly so that any semi-intelligent would get lost in it depths. I liked it I'll give a high matinee to a regular full price.

the only reason I hope there is a sequel is because they left it open for one, and the film had such an amazing concept, I hope they go back and explore it some more. For instance, would be great if the team went into Cobbs mind to pull him out of limbo, I just wished they explain Joseph Levitt's and Ellen Paige characters more and would reveal what happened to them. But other that Toy Story 3, this is the best film this year so far, i would say its up there with the Dark Knight, but alot of people who didn't like the film was because of there's no diffinative ending,
