09:13 - 09:16 made me laugh so damn hard lol. (I'd have to give this movie a matinee...i heard A LOT of negativity about it, that it might be the reason I sorta enjoyed it...i went in expecting something borderline awful, and came out pretty happy). I will say it was shot very nicely (most the time), but the biggest flaws i felt, is the lack of relationship with Charlie and his Mother...and maybe could have used a lil more Liotta. Overall, it was VERY flawed, but I forgive a good amount of flaws, due to the 1st half of the movie being so interesting. (I think my favorite scene was when Charlie runs away from the funeral, and while you see him running through the intense looking forest...hes getting vivid flashbacks of the car being stuck and tumbling down the road).

Alternate ending: Charlie gives his ghost brother joint displacement disease because he couldn't probably teach him to throw a slider, and he has to have therapy sessions for the rest of his (after)life.

I can honestly say I never had Effron hate even during the HSM years and was willing to give 17 Again a chance and I'm glad I did, he's talented and I hope he one day gets to do something really cool in a movie. With that said, I'm not going to see this Hallmark shit

@Bennett Mork They explained in one of the podcasts, forgot which one, that when they do a review it's like hanging out. They spend a lot of time talking and cracking jokes. Unfortunately Carlyle has work for four other websites and can't squeeze them into long reviews into his schedule. They want to hang for 30 minutes, Carlyle just wants to review the movie and get out. It's really unfortunate but at least you can get a dose of Carlyle on the podcasts.

I saw in the trailer that Effron's character was going to teach his brother's ghost how to throw a slider. The kid is far too young to learn to throw a breaking ball, it's going to end up killing his already dead arm.

So, the chick he falls for is dead. Thanks for giving away the ending.
