I saw Lions for Lambs probably over 2 years ago now, but I remember paying very close attention to the film. The acting was superb and it really challenged me to think. One of those movies where after the fact I still thought a lot about it...the message, what my own stance was, and what the greater meaning behind it was. I would definitely encourage people to watch it- it's certainly not complete crap. You just may or may not agree with what it has to say.

I had that same problem with Cameron Diaz in Gangs of New York, she just didn't fit in the 1860s with that face:

Lincoln was killed because he didnt want to let the BANKERS take over America so they hired a gunman to kill him the same happend to Kennedy. Who still dosent get that bankers control the world and governments you are still sleeping.

    best courtroom dramas i've seen:

presumed innocent - you never know until the very, very last scene whether harrison ford was guilty or not.

to kill a mockingbird - you already know what the verdict will be, the injustice of it all.  and yet watching gregory peck is mesmerizing.

a few good men - nicholson and cruise....'nuf said.

jfk - it's all hogwosh, but the storytelling is captivating.

Parts of this were filmed across the street from my dorm, and I had a couple of friends act in it.

Okay, not heard of this one at all. But after the review, sounds like it might be interesting. Especially when you consider that it does go over the "conspiracy" of the 3 assassinations that were supposed to take place to cut off the leadership of the government... not JUST the Lincoln assassination. (Which is odd that his is the only one that succeeded that night).

However, I have to point out how sadly disappointed I am with the Spill crew for having a second "Lincoln" movie and yet not one damn LINCOLN LOGS joke to be seen.
