This is one of those reviews where I kind of shake my head a little.  Enjoyed it because it was funny but, as usual, the gang nit picks inconisistently.  I mean, we all know the laws of physics go out of the window during the last car chase scene with the bank but where was this need for accuracy during their Dark Knight review?  I mean, if I'm going to say how impractical and distracting it is to see cars pulling a heavy safe with cables I think are flimsy then I got to say something about someone dropping dozens of feet off the side of a building; stopping his fall (and at times that of another) with a grappling hook and not (at least) pulling his arm out of socket.  This is a sit back and enjoy the ride kind of film.  The theater I saw it in the people were losing their minds over the movie and loved it.

Well the Bullshit here is that through movie magic Puerto Rico was turned into Brazil.

They even fucked over a friend of mine. He was payed $50 as an extra in the movie and then when we see the movie, we find out he is the husband of the fine ass brazilian cop.

He's part of a plot point in the movie and he got paid jack shit.

This movie had a lot of problems..but i couldnt help but enjoy it. It atleast had plenty of sequences to make up for most of it's flaws.

as much as i dont like these actors (although Luda is still pretty cool even though he cant act for shit)...but i honestly didn't mind them at all in this.

I saw all of them except 2 Fast 2 Furious (and keeping it that way)..and my least favorite is actually the last one 'Fast & Furious', it just never amazed me, maybe like 2 small parts that i dont remember, just a cave and a canyon. But THIS atleast felt like an action movie if nothing else..each character i both laughed at for being corny, but also laughed with at some parts because i was enjoying it...I honestly think what saved this movie, was the supporting cast distracting us from the lead!!! as much as i didn't mind Vin Diesel in this, he just sometimes felt in the way lol.

The Rock was pretty hilarious at parts, but even he was pretty bad at times...but overall, I cant even judge this movie...its just one of those guilty pleasures, and I didn't even like the 1st one that much, but it was still fun. I'd have to say I like it as much as the 1st one.I would give it a High Matinee for me...but for people who do like the series, well, it will definitely be a High Full Price for you. Fun movie.

Ok Cyrus, Korey, none of you had the guts to review Dylon Dog?  When I saw the trailer for I was like "Damn, too bad they won't review it because it's going straight to dvd, then it said it was coming out to theaters.  I'm soooo interested in hearing this.  Oh and fix the itunes account.

It was a Matinee for me, fun as hell and as for Justin Lin..the guy has me really interested on what he tackles next (as in sometime after the fast and furious franchise is over with) I love how he just shot the action scenes all practical. Even, the the vault chasing scene. They were showing the making of fast five on HBO and to my fucking surprise that vault was not cg. At one point they even showed it crashing through the bank with extras over watching the thing happen before there eyes. Damn!  But, one thing is for sure! We're definitely gonna at least get two more sequels. I don't mind it. These movies are fun!

Badass movie. The Rock was badass and over the top. Final car chase was one of the greatest I've ever seen and the one fisticuffs battle was better than anything in Expendables.

    Beautiful women, beautiful setting.

83 MILLION dollar opening weekend?!? Yeah. We're getting at least 2 more sequels.

But let me say that I think these numbers have a lot to do with the success of the last film which I still consider to be one of the best in the franchise. If they can blend the racing elements of the series with the action vibe in this last movie I can't lie that I won't be in line again to watch them all.

For once i did not agree the last film was not good. Pretty boring and there was cars! they had like the crzy ass chase scene!. They raced each other when stealing the police car. I thought it was pretty good even so good review

Y'all really thought that last one was better than this one?  I thought the 4th film was AWFUL.

ah.. but they showed the super cars at the end of the film... did they count for nothing?! seriously though. great review! i enjoyed the movie myself but I did feel it was lacking in the racing department. we did get the classic vin diesel pose though... the pose he does in every single movie he's in.. minus his voice acting stuff... can i spoil the ending?

Okay, that was condescending itself what I said, so forgive me. Do realize, though, that that actor has played villains of Mexican descent as wel as South American. That might be why we referenced Mexico.

Camobeats, it's usually Cyrus who makes the connection of South America to Spanish, but I'm sure (I hope) he's as aware as I am that what he's saying is for humorous effect. I myself took two years of Portuguese in college and very much know the difference. I can't speak the language being that in Texas you have no practical use for it, but I do enough to know they don't speak Portuguese in Mexico or vice versa.

We do appreciate your genius (read condescending) corrections and thirst for more of your wisdom. Thank you.

Wouldn't it be funny if the the prequel with the six year olds was  the best one?

I mean jesus, it's gotta be better than the Star Wars prequels.
