Sorry Spill Crew this move was a SOME OL BULLSHIT, this movie was a complete mess, this was so clearly edited down and I think there's about 40 minutes of footage that a janitor is sweeping up from the editing room floor. Karl Urban your the only one that walks away from this movie and that's because your the only one that realized you were in a shitty movie and decided to have fun with the role.

Leon hyped up the conclusion of the train scene too much. Saw the exact same thing in the Super 8 teaser trailer, and that was more visually impressive.

I agree on it being a lift from a bunch of other stories/movies, I've never read the comic (which I'm guessing will be like most of the people who see this movie),  the story wasn't all that brilliant, and it could've used a couple of intentional jokes (Hicks would've been an excellent rendition of Pvt. Hudson).

But even with all that I still had fun with the movie though I'm glad I saw it for free. I definitely say skip the 3D and just wait till it's on DVD.

Damn it! I really wanted this movie to not suck. I was soo excited when they released the first sneak peak but after the first theatrical trailer it didnt look promising. I was hoping I was wrong but damn. Thanks guys for saving me $. I'll rent it for sure

I want vampires to be blood thirsty feral creatures instead of sparkling pretty boy who like girls who can't act. Plus Karl Urban in the movie so I already knew I was going to see this movie. But after seeing it I was disappoint because the movie is cliche after cliche.

i kinda liked it and at times it was original and had very good action scenes. But the characters aren't developed very well and it tends to drag on.It is worth to see it just for the post-apocalyptic churc world and the EPIC climax.A good popcorn movie.Matinee!

I hate this movie!! Ive read the Manga and it was 100 times better than this made up garbish, for the only thing related to the book is the freaking name! this does not deserve its title, its better off as another movie, nothing related to the book.. and that what pisses me off about this movie.. nothing works.. load of bullshit

the creatures were stolen from the movie Doom, also with Karl Urban... It was still relatively enjoyable to watch.

I'd rather these religious movies be more cerebral than action packed. Give the actor a chance to portray or flesh a character out, rather than place them in super fast action scenes, and see how the react to it.

I agree with everything you guys said but I really enjoyed this movie. and I thought the 3D was really well done too. Small things like ash and embers in the air really popped out as well as some of the bigger vampires. And the animated lead in at the beginning really popped. anyways, good review

It's based on a Korean comic (manhwa)

I almost fell a sleep during this movie. Even if a movie is an action film, it still makes me tired with all the cliches and terrible acting (Cam Gigandet)

While I liked Trinity Blood, I loved Blood + only after I got involved after a friend asked me to go back to it.

Conceptually, it sounds like a pretty interesting concept with a bunch of different genre twists. I can definitely see this pitch being approved. But the execution... sounds like good ideas went to waste.

Wow what's with this trailer music? It's been in sucker punch & the Black Ops trailer =S.

Yeah this is one of those "in name only" adaptations. Basically the only things the comic and the movie share is the name of the series and a main character with a cross on his forehead.

Though it's interesting you guys brought up the odd Western things in the movie. I guess that's an attempt by the production company to be more like the source since the comic is a horror Western.

Speaking of Korean vampire umm, stuff, I guess, I recommend the movie "Thirst" to everyone.  One of the best vampire films I've ever seen (Thirst, not this movie).

Taco Bella Lugosi, that is the movie I want to see.  You see an average man in front of a window at a kitchen table opening a bag of Taco Bell.  "Honey, you want hot sauce?"  And with that a shadow falls across the window.

@Bat21 ROFLOL, stop!  Your killing me, lol!  Oh internet, remind me to get you something nice for Christmas.

Damn, I had to watch Easy Reader after that clip, too.  Roflol!  I think Morgan Freeman could make reading the phone book entertaining.
