Ok, this one was entertaining not as funny as the first but still fun and entertaining as all hell! I didn't LOVE it, but I liked it to an extended point. I would give it a full matinee. First was high full price this is a full on matinee. Very fun indeed, its a hangover film come on !

@ Masked Anti-Hero That statement was directed at the spill crew since they said there werent sure how Stu could land such a hottie. And to everyone else if they didn't already know. Not you specifically.

@ David Szaks: 'In case you weren't aware..'?? lol. Yasmin's one of my Top 5 favorite pornstars, I'm pretty sure I know that she's a transsexual.

It looks just like the same as the first movie. I'm okay--I might go see it--I might pass.

I really didn't find the first one funny either, stupidity just doesnt tickle my funny bone unless I believe that it is real. (like stupid criminals or something) So probably wont see this in theatres but im sure that my friends will make me see it at some point just like they first one. Also incase you guys weren't aware, Yasmin Lee is a manshe (or shemale however you term it). I aint hating, but it might help you suspension of disbelief and explain how/why she was w/ a guy so far beneath her level in the movie.

I fucking HATED the last movie, so the only thing that's making me wanna watch this is the fact that Yasmin Lee's in it, one of my favorite pornstars.

I did enjoy this movie at midnight...was probably one of the funnest ones, but a few days later I barely thought about it. I do still like it, but its clearly not a perfect movie. Since I had to pay full price though, I would give it that because I didn't regret it....but....days later I saw the other sequel I feared, Kung Fu Panda 2...and WOW...I totally forgot about The Hangover Part II.

KFP2 was exactly what I would hope for in a sequel. As much as I want to say I like the 1st one better, I think the 2nd one was equal atleast. The visuals, score, cast, variety of animation, and story were all fascinating to me. I dont mean to compare the two...but how can't I? They both come out on the same weekend, basically the only movies, and both sequels to good movies. So, KFP2 was a better sequel, but I did still enjoy THP2 for what it was (the monkey).

Yea I was a bit dissapointed. This one wasn't really all that funny. The first movie I laughed literally the whole way through, and I maybe laughed twice for this one. The Hangover was just so original it seems kind of dumb to make a copy of the first film with similiar situations, in which there is no originality. And yea, Alan was really annoying in this one, but ironically, he was the only one I laughed at.

The Hangover part 2 was crap, I barely laughed through out the whole thing. Maybe it's because I watched Due Date and the jokes were all to referring to the first one and Stu keep screaming what the fuck just happened. Zach on the other hand felt like his humor and randomness or the whole movies attempt at comedy is too old just being based on being fucked up on drugs.

this shit was hilarious. im with co host 100%. it was really funny cept the attempt at the end.

it does hit its predecessor shot for shot, but its like the original on steroids lol. if you just try to enjoy the movie, it'll be a lot more fun than comparing it to the original

I actually liked the "ending" because they brought someone who I'm proud of and like, also they sang a song that I was waiting for the entire movie. At first I was confused cause I couldn't understand the words then I heard the chorus and I was like "OHHHHH" which made the movie go up some points for me.

It's really strange, I'm sure no one reading this comment will understand...because I don't understand myself. But I really enjoyed this movie (which Rottentomatoes calls it a "carbon copy") however, I didn't like the first one. YES, I did not like the first Hangover, it just wasn't really funny to me. But this was was? Trust me, I don't get it myself, but I did enjoy this movie I thought it was hilarious. Not the BEST comedy out there, but it was definitely worth watching in the theatre. I give it a high Matinee to Full Price.

I don't know i think it was a little worse than the first however who ever was playing that Asian kid needs work. Not to reveal any spoilers but theirs no reason that kid should be happy when they eventually find him.

And Alan's character was being a complete dick for no good reason.

I didn't think this one was funny.  I chuckled a little once or twice.  The kid was missing a fucking finger and everyone just shrugged it off.  It didn't add up right.

The first film was not just a awesome comedy but a great mystery film with lots of vulgar humor thrown in.  This is EXACTLY the same film as the first by plot points and jokes.

I agree that the monkey was the best part of the film, and I agree with Korey that when the film tries to outdo the original, it was absolutely funny.  Rather than that, I could tell most of the time where the film would go because it is indeed taking the original script and replacing certain places and objects with new ones (for example, Bangkok for Las Vegas, bride's brother for groom, finger for tooth, monkey for tiger, monk for baby, tattoo artist for doctor, etc.).  I still laughed hard through this film, and I have to give this a Low Matinee due to how it is derivative of the original yet as funny.

I noticed that the original writers of The Hangover weren't a part of this film during the opening credits which gave me apprehension. It's rare (or doesn't exist) a polarizing film gets picked up by other writers and gets made better.  I have no idea why they weren't but I just had a feeling watching this film that if they were, their script wouldn't have been what we seen on the screen. The two writers of The Hangover Part II have written for Scary Movie 3 & 4. That's probably the reason why they followed the formula of the original The Hangover to a T.
