    Guys thanks so much for the review. I watched the movie before listening and then again straight afterwards with my girlfriend & a couple of bottles of red.

    I loved the shit out of this film and Im glad you brought up more points that made me re-visit it.....I feel bad im only 20 miles away from Paris and dont go there enough!

    I really can't get behind this movie at all, maybe because I really don't like romantic comedies. I agree with much of what you guys say but this as the number one movie of the year, yeah, no.

    @Henriksen,

    I'm with you completely. Almost an hour in and I turned it off. So damn boring. Just a bunch of chatter from historical figures that I don't give a damn about. Even the person watching it with me thought it was crap and had no had problem saying so. I'm generally not a fan of Woody Allen and if it wasn't for Match Point, which is great, I'd dislike him completely. I totally disagree with anybody who says this movie is one of Allen's better films

    I really enjoyed this film.  As you guys said, Allen romanticizes the time period of the 20's in Paris.  Full price if not more.  But, as a black scholar, I would have loved to see more mentions of famous blacks in Paris at the time other than the faux cameo of Josephine Baker.  Hate to Spike Lee it up and say Allen purposefully withheld the great Black writers or artist of that time that were in Paris as a result of American stupidity, but to allude to the "golden ages of Paris and not mention the great impact of the refuges from the Harlem renaissance is a little offense and quite historically inaccurate.  But thats just the black me talkin.  I wonder how Corey and Leon feel about it.

    Listened to your review and I enjoyed this movie as well. It started off slow for my taste, but it picked up at took off. My biggest problem with it was the ending seemed extremely truncated. A lot of things seemed to have been taken for granted, that Owen Wilson would end up with who he ended up with, that he would actually move to Paris one surmises to continue his midnight excursions, which would kinda fly in the face of the moral of the film, not to glorify the past. I also wanted to see Michael Sheen's comeuppance, there was NO payoff for putting up with him. HE should've been the one running from the Versailles palace guards, not the detective. Other than that, it was probably the best cinematic diversion this summer has produced yet.

    Big fan of Woody, Big fan of this movie. Loved it, great to see a movie that is smart, witty, and cool concept in a summer filled with remakes, sequels, and film adaptations of rehashed products.

    I'm not a huge fan of Woody Allen, with an exception to Anne Hall, but this is probably my favorite comedy so far this year. I mean, its not Sherlock Jr.; however, it was really funny, really well directed and just entertaining! Extremly high Full Price almost to the tip of its real better than sex. I actually was going in and hating this because of Owen Wilson, but I just love this movie :D

    Frank its not like Korey is holding a gun to your head to take the review as fact, the audio has everyones opinion and everyone has different tastes, take it as they say and have your own opinion, that's what they're doing...Funny review guys

    I had never heard of this movie until just now. I probably only see 4 or 5 movies a year if that many, so this would not even register on my list of films to see. Now it's on my must see list. Thanks for the awesom recommendation!

    I'm glad this movie is doing well at the box office and  Owen Wilson does a great job in the Woody Allen Persona but I would still rate it a high rental or a low matinee. It made me smile but rarely did it make me laugh, and I laughed at most(not all most) of his other movies.

    Damm Korey you better put as your Rating "Better Than Sex"; just because you chose a "Full Price": If you choose "FULL PRICE" then your Fuck Your Ratings System, cause it hardly makes Sense anyway with everybody else having a Rating on a Movie and in the End we only see your Rating. God Bless Ya 4 Doin all this, but if theres one problem i have its your Ratings System. Taking Every Rating into concideration. How can 2 BTS VS 2 FP have a End Rating in Full Price?? (Check out Scott Pilgrim) Makes no sense jUST MY OPINION

    Just got back from seeing this and none of the Spill crew are wrong.

    Though I do wonder just how long any of them would stay with Rachel McAdams if she really acted the way she did in the movie.

    I will definately see this film this summer, not just because it sounds fantastic, but, because all these blockbusters are a bit heavy, hehe :P I need a good story to get lost in. :)

    I know that the better than sex rating is hyperbole (nothing is really better than sex), but to say that you'd rather watch a Woody Allen movie than fuck is grounds for having your balls removed.

    I kinda wish I didn't hear this review as I'm going to see the movie regardless but I had no idea that he'd travel through time.

    Wow I don't think I've ever seen any of you say something positive about Owen Wilson before lol.

    TBH I'd never even heard of this film, and don't know too much about historic literary figures, but after 3 better than sex's I might have to go watch this after all.
