This movie was so damn fun! It's a piece of shit but it's just as stupid as Planet of The Apes. Completely suprised by the fun I had!

The third one has mouse traps, even though they were silly. I loved watching those girls burn to death in the sun bed. That sounds fucked up but I did love watching it, the screaming and everything, and I love the soundtrack when they're going up on the rollacoaster. And I really liked the nails through the head one, it looked so painful. And I rooted for the main characters.

But the fourth one was so terrible and the soundtrack was... Oh my God I was actually wincing at it, it was so awful. If you have a bad movie at LEAST make it good to listen to. I didn't not give a flying fuck about the main characters in 4 at all, and I didn't enjoys the deaths either, screw that movie. So I'm not sure I want to watch this movie, I can't sit through anything that resembles the last one, I really can't. One of the worst movies I've ever seen at the cinema.

I really liked the log going through the car window in the second one, wow. Even though it couldv'e been edited better, I liked teh car crash. That was gross. I didn't like the fence death though, that one was TOO dumb for me cause in a movie where it was mostly not CGI and all over a sudden their was CGI. I'd prefer to either be CGI dominant like FD3 or pratical effects dominant like FD2, not both, because It'll just take me out of the universe the movie created for itself.

I just got out of this a few hours ago.  I give it a Low Matinee.  If you're a fan of the series and pay very close attention to the very beginning and very end you will be pleasantly surprised.  On an unrelated note, WTF is up with that guy that looks like Tom Cruise???  I thought I was watching Top Gun for most of the movie.  It is creepy how much that dude looks like him.  For some reason that actor made the movie a lot better for me even though his actual acting was kinda subpar.

I like to think Grim is bored as hell and gives somebody a premonition just so he can then be creative.

If Cyrus thought the 4th one was so bad and this was a step in the right direction why did he give part 4 a higher rating then he gave part 5?

I found this movie to be painfully enjoyable. I didn't want to, but yes, I do agree with Jean Genie. The trailer spoiled a lot of crap, but you guys already had a discussion on how trailers show too much to sell. Anyways! The lack of ponies is scary!

do one of these where a person has more than one vision and can pevent deaths more often, but still keep the kills because thats the money.

    When's this franchise gonna die?

The trailer for this movie gave away tons of spoilers on how people will die.

Yes. But I think they made so much money they couldn't let go. I found the gourth one boring as hell. The 2rd and 3rd will always be my favorites. The 1st was great too.

    my review:

rocked alot despite the short running time
the 5th entry is definitely the better of the series changing the rules and Death doesnt take kindly to it
the 3D is awesome especially when it comes to these people getting hacked one by one
amazingly it retraces the steps of the 1st two movies putting the viewer in more suspense to how these victims die
the ending I may say is quite spectacular cause of the surprising twist that totally spins everything out of proportion
New Line Cinema still holds up one of audiences' favorite franchises :)
