I went in fully knowing it was a TV show that was just being released in this format across the pond.  Knowing that, I was prepared for its slow pace and I really enjoyed it. In fact, I think I enjoyed it more than I would have if it were on TV since I could chuckle along with the audience constantly throughout it. Pleasant outing at an indie theater.

Steve Coogan is Alan Partridge!!! ALAN PARTRIDGE DAMMIT!! He is a comic genius. Russell Brand is a dick don't compare Coogan to him.

I love stuff like Top Gear and James May's Road Trip, so this seems like my cup of tea (so to speak). I find the editing on those shows to be quite good, though, so who knows.

Warning lights go off whenever I hear Grieg's Hall of the Mountain King in a movie trailer.

Would have been more interesting if "trip" meant taking LSD.

I was really annoyed by this film. They go travel to amazing destinations to eat amazing food and all they do is worry about their careers and relationships. Just enjoy the vacation and food!

I thought Rob Brydon's Al Pacino impersonation was excellent.

Steve Coogan played Alan Partridge. Comparing him to Russel Brand is retarded.

This was mildly amusing, like Withnail and I light with fine dining.

Steve Coogan's finest character is Alan Partridge

Rob Brydon was in Little Britain, but in small roles.

David Walliams was the thin guy in Little Britain. Rob Brydon does alot of stand-up and is one of the stars of Gavin and Stacy

Appreciate the independent film attention. So much content lately. I feel spoiled.

Rob Brydon was never in Little Britain. I hate that show but I like Rob Brydon, he was in a comedy called Gavin and Stacey and he was the funniest thing in it by far.

Actually the Trip the TV series was 6 30 minute episodes so they probably only edited an hour out of it. It is dry and formulaic but I liked it because I liked both Steve and Rob as characters, they both have likeable qualities about them. This is probably the best way to sell this to Americans though because it is very British.

Rob Brydon was barely in Little Britain. If I remember correctly he played one character in one sketch so I doubt many people will recognise him from that. The thing he's most famous for is either his stand up where he plays a character called Keith Barret or from the TV show Gavin & Stacey which was a huge success over here. Personally though I think he was best in a short TV series called Marion & Geoff where he again plays Keith a divorced cab driver, it has some of the most touching moments in comedy it's quite understated though. Here give it whirl:

This one I've been wanting to see. I hope it plays at the only indie theatre near me!
