  I watched this movie and I liked it just fine. I liked the relationship between the two main characters and it was actually surprising how much I liked this movie. I didn't see the ending coming and if you like romantic movies, you might want to rent it.

  I cannot believe how many people think anne hathaway is good actor, she is woefully annoying and unbelievable. As well, she never tries to expand from this, as spill said, she plays all her roles in the same way, she could be 19th century maid or 21th century lawyer and still be the same annoying airhead drip which just want to shut up.

  I saw this film yesterday, and it was by far my favorite movie of the summer (And I have seen just about everything). The chemistry between the two leads is outstanding and really pulls you in. I've read the book and they did change a bit, but in the end they do a decent job of making the changes work. I would tell anyone who enjoys romance films to go and see it.

  I might see this. Anne Hathaway always makes an alright movie better, and i'm a fan of Jim Sturgess. I was just hoping for a little more, Like it's a cool idea and all might have been just a nice book to read but, as a movie sounds forgettable. Good review

  I know they are few and far between, but I don't like it when you do a review and only one you guys have seen the movie.  Part of the appeal of the reviews are the debate/differences of opinion. When only one of you have seen it the other three just seem bored and are nodding along, and that makes me bored with the review.  As for the movie, I wish you would have commented on how Anne Hathaway's accent was, because it sounds horrible in the trailer and it was horrible in that Jane Austin movie.   Anne Hathaway is starting to get into that Natalie Portman territory where she was great it one movie (AH-Rachel Getting Married, NP-Black Swan) and now suddenly critics want to say they are great in every movie afterwards, when I just don't see it.

  Why do people insist on saying "well how can you give this movie a certain rating while you gave another movie this rating." Reviewing movies is not a math formula and ratings are RELATIVE, you have to judge the film within itself.

  Wow, all this hate towards you Korey, you know what? This movie may have ended up passing me un-noticed, but because you took the time to see it and give it a great review, I'll try to see it next week aswell. :) Romances are the genre that splits an audience the most, it is down to what we all look for in relationships and people.
