those damn nazis without an edumacation! 140 years ago cyrus? better have been a joke.

I liked the movie but what hurt it was obviously the miscasting of the two male leads and the fact that these were supposed to be tough spies yet they act like COMPLETE ROOKIES. I shouldn't feel like i could do their job better yet they were so inept it made me question how they could have been selected for this mission. They didn't even contemplate the possibility that he had a piece of broken plate? That is just dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb. AND they could have tortured him/ maimed him so that he couldn't run away. Solid rental but I didn't enjoy the movie as much as the idea of the story.

Thanks for mentioning Danish actor Jesper Christensen.

He played Mr. White in the last two James Bond movies too. He's one of the biggest actors in Denmark, starting out in children's shows when he was younger, having won a ton of awards, and it's great to see him get some recognition out in the world

Saw it last night.  It was ok, but I kind of expected more from Matthew Vaughn.  There were a few good scenes, but nothing really all that memorable, and I felt it could have used a few more characters/set locations.  Also they could have focused more on what the Nazi Dr. had done in the war so we could really see how evil he was (maybe some flashbacks or something).   Their safe-house was a little too safe.  I think there could have been some investigations from the basement apartment or other neighbors given all the screaming and yelling going on.  It would have been nice to have the police show up at the house and search it, while watching our main characters barely cover up their prisoner.  Finally, the storytelling approach of starting in the present did sort of kill the tension for me.  Overall decent, but forgettable.

I ended up seeing this yesterday, without having seen the trailer in theaters before so I had no idea what it was about, besides secret agents and nazis...so since it sounded cool and had Helen Mirren, Tom Wilkinson and that Russian guy lol...it seemed pretty interesting. I was very surprised by this. It had an excellent story, great acting, good directing, and even a great score.

I was never bored by it, although the part where it basically replays an entire scene from earlier in the movie...at 1st i was like "ok something change, ok...still the same thing a minute later, this has to be for a reason", luckily it was, an important reason...so besides that, I literally had no other complaints. This is definitely one of my favorites of the year so far.

I even (finally) thought Sam Worthington was pretty good. Jessica Chastain was incredible I must say...she was always interesting from start to finish.

This is also one movie where flashbacks are used perfectly. Sometimes flashbacks can get annoying, but this one made it useful and mysterious.

I'm glad that this came out on Wednesday, so it didn't share it's release date w/ 2 other crap-films.

Sometimes during the movie I even thought "will this movie continue to surprise me?" and I ended up loving it from beginning to end. I didn't even want it to end, it was actually getting sad when I knew there wasn't much left to find out because I wanted more. Even the very ending, It made me think it was about to end in a way I didn't want it to, but I was going to forgive it...and then it went EXACTLY where I was hoping. This was definitely near-perfect. HIGH Full Price (although I keep thinking to myself Better Than Sex!).

Damn Cyrus! I woke both my cats laughing when you said a spy movie, involving guys jumping out of some ladie's hooch with machine guns would be called "The Hymen". Now you've got me laughing at lots of pun's' before but NOW I am 100% sure you ARE...

                                                        THE PUNISHER!!

an for all you listeners who didn't get the joke.

Hymen- a membrane that surrounds or partially covers the external vagina opening

now foke's what is worse, that Cyrus can instantly come up with a pun involving accurate and detailed female anatomy...or that he spent hours researching all the parts of the vagina in hopes of finding a great pun to set up for the recording?

In a 30+ minute review, Korey forgets the title of the last X-Men flick and some troll named Steve Overman rips into him.

Hey Steve-O, you DO realize Korey and the Crew watch movies for a living, right?  When you're seeing a few hundred flicks a year it is possible to forget a few of the details.

Or were you born perfect as well as a dumb ass?
