I enjoyed it. You guys were bang on with the over abundance of characters. I feel they could have cut it down to four or five of them, as many characters were simply skimmed over or disappeared half way through (like Elliot Gould's character).
    Matinee.

I have my problems with the film, but I actually did leave the theater half-way through the film to buy a drink and wash my hands. Low full price.

this was a pretty good movie. but i didn't really get to know any of the characters, really. there is much left open in the movie, imo. i'd give it a high rental myself.

Was I the only one who suddenly paid more attention when Leon mentioned Carlyle? xD

Don't want to be a jerk, but I still prefer Korey and Co-Host doing reviews with Cyrus and Leon.

And my two cents, I was on the edge of my seat this entire movie, yes it has some noticable flaws, but the cinematography, score, and what with what the actors did with the time they did have were more just than passable but very good. I believed that this could happen, which makes me a lot more tense.

Usually I agree with just about all of your opinions, but I gotta say that I was on the edge of my seat the whole time during this movie. I think this movie was made for people who constantly ask "what if." The thing that made this movie really great in my eyes was the plausibility of the whole thing. You talk about how the stars were in and out of the movie too quickly and that it was spread to thin, but I thought it gave scope to the whole outbreak. I also thought that Mat Damon's resolution as well as Kate Winslet's was really poignant and real highlights of the movie. I would give this a full price. But that's just my two cents...

I just saw this movie at the Rave at the Greene.  It was really good.  I liked the characters, cared about what happened to them.  Agree about the color.  After all the grey of the Midwest durning the winter, to see the casino in China was splash, and orgy of color.

This was a fun review and made me want to avoid this movie like a plague until I can sanitize it in rental. I also hope this is a new trend with guest reviewers. But I made that point over in Warrior.
