    I felt it was a nice thriller. I wanted for it to come on cable however. I agree that no woman "deserves it or is asking to be raped" In fact a man capable of such an act never needs to be encouraged. It doesn't matter what type of dress the woman is wearing. Its all about the feeling of power these men get from taking control of your body from you. If anyone was asking for it, it was the Coach's daughter. She was constantly enticing a man that was mentally challenged. A man whose self control and very idea of right and wrong were damaged. Here's a child in a man's body with no idea how to control the sexual and strength of that body. The Coach would have been better off punishing his daughter instead of attempting to get this man-child to understand to stay away from his daughter.

    Now I usually dislike remakes strongly, especially if I liked the original. However, I did like the Straw Dogs remake more than the original. It's simply my opinion on which I enjoyed more. The original bored me most of the time up until the end. The remake however I did like. I'm not saying it was a better or even necessary movie, but I did enjoy it. The actors did great and the action was good.

    Personally, them remaking Straw Dogs was unnecessary. Since the original was an instant classic.

    You're really oversimplifying, man. There's plenty of 'em like that, but there's plenty who are less... psychotic in their motives with it. Read up on this stuff, you'll see what I mean.

    i completely agree about movies today [american cinema basically] always wanting a hero in the end. americans cannot accept an unhappy ending, and that's probably why our movies suck, because we never push limits.

    @bagheadman (and others)

    Sigh. OK. Let me spell this out for people. Rape is about POWER, not sex. What someone wears HAS NO EFFECT on their chances of getting raped. Interestingly, neither does age or social status. Wearing "slutty" clothing will not result in rape; nor will not wearing revealing clothing prevent rape.

    Rapists are not horny teenagers who "just can't control themselves around pretty girls," they are disturbed sexual terrorists who operate on a similar psychological profile as serial killers.

    No one deserves to get raped, but knowing there are psychopaths and freaky perverts stalking the streets and even homes everywhere, women should carry themselves more conservatively. I think guys should to but since the threat of guys being raped by women are considerably lower it hasn't been to much of a problem, but we still watch out of dinosaurs.

    It's all contextual. No, nobody deserves to be raped, but sounds more like... taunting a lion with a big hunk of meat; you're waving it in front of its face, so you shouldn't be surprised if it bites. It's the fault of the lion for biting - it's the one that chose to act - but it didn't act for no reason. It may be its nature to eat meat, but if meat is dangled in front of its face, it's provoking it. Aggressively. Not passively. It's actively working this lion up.

    Nobody deserves to get raped, but come on. A guy thinking a woman is easy 'cause she "dresses slutty" isn't at fault in the least. She dresses how she wants to dress. Totally her right. But to actively work someone up? To do it on purpose? That's tempting fate.

    As for the joking, come on, guys. Everyone has their iffy points. Race, religion, sexuality, whatever. Chances are, someone will eventually joke about something someone takes seriously. It's a little unfair to laugh at everything else but the stuff that you find to be off limits.

    Anyway, obnoxious preaching over. Sorry 'bout dat.

    @Tyler Hudson i agree with you completely if we can make Hitler jokes then we can sure as hell can make jokes and parody everything and anything else

    @Mia: We all get to that point where something the crew says rubs us the wrong way. For me, it is anytime they make the assertion that female on male rape is not rape.

    "Expecting burglars not to rob your house, after you leave the front door wide open before going out for the day, is asking too much." Makes perfect sense.

    Stopped listening to this review at 10:56. Maybe it gets less terrible, maybe not. Not bashing you guys, just had to stop listening so I can continue to like you guys and not hate the world.
