I would guess that the crew covered this movie because it is, as they point out, an American-style French film rather than a French-style one. Not that there's anything wrong with French-style action thrillers, and judging from various comments I would guess that the crew would agree with me on that, but Spill generally covers only certain types of films.

And come on, let's not be sensitive about the French joke (which was held to one, if you notice); just consider the unflattering things that the guys say about every state in the union.

I m pleasantly surprised, that you guys are reviewing, a french film, other that one Luc Besson piece of crap production , like "from Paris with love" or "Colombiana" .

I am curious to know how did you came to see it ? Is there a french film festival or are they actualy showing it in a regular theatre ?

If you like this kind of thrillers you gus should watch "TELL NO ONE"

or the original french version of " the tourist" wich is much much mch better called "

    "Anthony Zimmer"

Last year I made a list of french movies who really worth watching to Cyrius, I don't know if he had the chance to watch one of them .

Last one for the guys who like zombie movie you watch "the horde"

One thing that really impressed me about this movie that the crew didn't touch on is that it's just dark enough for there to be some real suspense about the character's safety. It is, of course, an action movie, so we the audience are always pretty confident that our sympathetic heroes will be okay, but there are one or two points near the end where, just for a minute, I thought that the movie might take a very shocking turn. You really are on the edge of your seat. It's a phenomenal movie. I don't know if most American audiences realize that the French are in the midst of a renaissance in action films and thrillers, but this movie is a great place to get educated on the subject.

Yea.... never going to France. "Taken, Point Blank, Kiss of the Dragon", just ones off the top of my head never paint a decent portrait of that country.
