    Although it was a stretch I could still accept Cillian Murphy as a 25 year old simply because he's an adult, but that little girl? When the hell did she turn 25?

    I wonder how the banking system works in this movie...if you could get a high enough interest rate, problem solved...the clock would stop with time still on the clock.

    @DSWynne

    Not well said. You're laboring under the dated misapprehension that modern capitalism is NOT corporatism. When, of course, it is. There hasn't been genuine capitalism in America ever. Ever. It has always been state-subsidized, or the political economy has been tilted in its favor, or both. Just as there was never genuine communism in Russia, there has never been genuine capitalism in America. Or anywhere, for that matter.

    All we have in America is corporatism. Capitalism is the word tossed about in contemporary political parlance as a synonym for "corporatism" because modern political discourse never actually discusses "corporatism." The intention of the meaning is the same, arguing about it is pedantic. But, of course, you know that. You're just trying to make a dig at liberals. Which I'm not one of, by the way. Because liberals are... capitalist. And corporatist. Which you should also know. Clinton didn't reign over the best American economy ever for nothing.

    FREEEJACK!!! OK. I'll watch it.

    I wasn't gonna see it anyway. Your review ensured that I would not want to see it. But, the Freejack comparison will make sure it's on my to see list.

    The problem with a Liberal's definition of "capitalism" is that they mistake capitalism with "corporatism", which is intellectually either dishonest or lazy.

    So, is this like "The Fugitive" -- with Cillian Murphy playing the part of Sam Gerard?

    (BTW, I can't wait to hear Cyrus review "Margin Call".)
