I saw this movie in theaters back in november, and I LOVED IT. In fact during the scene with the kiss, I was like SQUEEEEEEE  :D  and was quietly giggling to myself. So long story short, greatest political love story EVER :D

This movie was wonderful, admittedly towards the end I was thinking they should wrap it up.

But you guys exaggerated the homosexual themed parts of this movie.  Adding together in the hints the movie made before hand, you guys had me believing this would be a cop version of Brokeback Mountain (which was a remarkable movie).

I know it's for humor, but it's not good to unintentionally misguide like that.

Undoubtedly homosexuality does play an important part, but for anyone wondering it's not an LGBT "the more you know" sympathy grub.

If you're looking for good acting, ambiguous characters and thrilling drama, definitely see this movie.  Can't wait for this movie to come out on blu-ray!

If they do make a KFC Captain Saunders movie they should make it like the south park "medicinal fried chicken" episode and make Saunders the sosa character from scarface

Great review, guys -- but once again, the Co-Host 3000 steals the show.

    More J. Edgar Co-Host, please!

If you wanna know more about the Melvin Purvis issue with J. Edgar look up G-Man the Rise & Fall Of Melvin Pervis. (He was a mad gun collector even though he accidentally shot himself to death)

It seems like Clint Eastwood was trying too hard to be fair and balanced. A lot of speculation had to be done about his personal life in order to offset the infamous aspects of J. Edgar Hoover in his work life. Speculation is a problem because it leads to very predictable and methodical storytelling. Biopics often show how the truth can be stranger than fiction.

I kinda explained my sister that J.Edgar Hoover was a real person (Mind you we are from Quebec, so we hardly ever heard of him)

Clint has been boring me for a long time, the last film of his I really liked was Letters from Iwo Jima.

I was excited about this, but it is getting pretty bad reviews overall and I don't know if I wanna take the risk on paying for it just to not like it, so rental sounds very right.
