wow, you guys hit right on when you pointed out that thing about the rapture. I think this movie would have been EPIC if they had played in that direction. 'cause the way it sits, it's pretty to look at, but there's nothing going on. Although I must admit.....I would buy an action figure of him in the ending, that was surprisingly bada**, downright f**ked up, but bada**.

Movie wasn't great, but definitely not as bad as the reviews have you to believe.  I guess I was happily surprised by how much I liked it.  I'd give it a matinee.

This movie is not that bad. It's not that good either. I think that when it comes to special effects , sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't (as was already expected in a movie that relies so heavily on them). What I didn't like was some camera angles. I think they empoverished the experience when they should do just the opposite. Good movie though. Waiting for the sequel. Hope they do a better work next time.

Overall it sucked pretty bad. But I liked it...I guess because "I got it". Just imagine a movie strictly from the perspective of the people on the receiving end of all that crap coming in out of nowhere. Not the military or some "hero" who might have greater intel, but imagine just your average Joe chillin out by the pool or worse yet sound asleep and this shit happens. Now from that perspective it makes sense. You aint gonna know shit or even get to find or figure anything out. You just fucked thats all. However they coulda done it better and giving it a little more personal style... C movie all the way but entertaining if you don't expect too much. I can see being seriously let down and dissed if you were going in expecting something else that wasn't there. lol --ted

Overall, I have to admit, I was very much enthusiastic about this film. The previews presented a great film filled with exhilarating and suspenseful action, breathtaking effects, and on-your-edge thrills. I expected this film to rival "Independence Day." Thus, I was shocked when I saw the film. Horrible movie. The writing was atrocious, the characters were never fully developed, NOTHING was ever explained (why were these aliens here and why exactly were they doing what they were doing?), and the action scenes and sequences were nothing short of laughable. I don't think the intention was to make the audience laugh. What is happening to Hollywood? Are they not looking for good scripts anymore? Don't waste your money to go see this. This is SOME OL' BULLSHIT!!! And That's the Bottom Line cause The Wolfman said so!!!

Okay they could have camped it up another notch like starship troopers. Nice ride though. Maybe give it a "Crank" style. Relentless video game thing goin on.

Man and I am glad I went into this movie cold turkey. because I was genuinely shocked and surprised by the fact that they were harvesting (you know what). It also made me laugh which was just to counter the amount of adrenaline being released into my blood stream at the moment.

I thought it was good for what it was. 21st century schlock. I agree with Andrea on the more red the better. I would have bumped the horror element a little more over the top and spent some money on buckets of blood. turned the ships into "Blood Ships" with a bunch of vagina sucking vampire alien machines. Its a fun movie if you just go for the ride and turn your brain off (no pun intended).

Good Flick to have fun with. Although boring in the apartment towards the middle. Don't expect much, but great effects and 21st century B-movie fare. Its just a schlock movie with great production values and cool computer generated stuff. However its the acting, dialog that reminds me of the 50's b.

@randy, All kidding aside, I actually agree with Leon about Inception. There was some really cool stuff in there, but as a whole I just wasn't crazy about it. To me it's a High Rental.

@randy, Leon is just getting senile in his old age. LOL.

Cyrus, If it were a game, it would be crysis. These aliens look almost exactly the same as the aliens in crysis.

I havent seen the whole movie but I did kinda realise how closely designed the aliens are 0_0

For the record, when we record separately it's only when timing doesn't permit otherwise. Sometimes there are two screenings at the same time, or multiple films that there are no screenings for so we have to see and get the recordings in for them when we can. With all of us often having other things on our plate, it can occasionally delay too much opportunities for all of us to be together on a review, so we end up splitting it. Not the ideal, but sometimes it's the only way.

hey how come Leon and Cyrus don't record with Korey and Co-Host all the time now?

Leon has been so weird this year. He didn't like inception and nobody really liked his points, he hated Red to a level that I didn't even think was possible. The hate for unstoppable was just a bit harsh but alright, yet he likes skyline for being so terrible that it's good.

Bravo. This is the review this film deserved, no offense to Korey and Co-Host. It just was not a "bad" movie. It has its merits. You just have to go in with low expectations!
