F/X was awesome. F/X 2 was decent, but it will mainly be remembered by me as the film where a woman is shot by a hot dog.

Kory- Hi! I just saw this movie yesterday. I took my mom to see it because she wanted to go. I probably would not have seen it on the big screen otherwise. But I thought it was pretty awesome. It's definatly like an old-time big-screen Western with sweeping landscapes of a big country. And, I think that Kiddman (who I love) and Jackman (who made a terrific Wolverine) were great together and the alpha male and alpha female who's love was a big as the story. I would say it was a Full Price movie.

Australia has some amazing history. Women arrested for Prostitution were shipped there because the initial settlement consisted of men. So to prevent sodomy, they shipped a boatload of women. The wealthiest Aussie was a former madam who used her prostitution business in Australia to start her own legit trade business. You'd think they'd go there...this looks like Pearl Harbor meets Out of Africa.

So sad, so much money, so much time, so much crap. I'll be all there for "I'm Sorry" Day & all, but there are better films out there describing the attrocities done to the aboriginees than this one.

The villain is David Wenham, he was Faramir in "Lord of the Rings" and the narrator of "300".
