I tried watching this last night. I found it uninteresting and William's performance to be unimpressive. I doubt I'll finish it. The good? Kenneth Branagh kicked ass as Laurence Olivier, Emma Watson was hot and it's always good to see Dominic Cooper in anything.

Kudos to that Walter observation, too.  Every movie with a weak character should have that person replaced with Walter.  Make a heck of a funny animation, Korey.  Hint.  Think I'll look for a Walter poster right now.  Everyone will be wondering why I have this thing hanging on my wall but we'll all know the reason, and that's what makes it so damned funny.

I'm a little conflicted about this movie. I feel Michelle Williams gave a good performance, but i never bought her as Marilyn Monroe. I'd give it a Matinee.

"Leon, I see your point about the guy who's telling the story -- I mean, honestly, it would've worked a lot better if they'd just made him a Muppet."

"They could've got Walter from the Muppet movie."

"Yeah, Walter should've played him, yeah. It would've been less distracting, and that would probably be the most interesting thing about that character -- that he was a Muppet."

No-one reviews movies like the Co-Host 3000. Gotta love that robot !

I never got what was so special about Marilyn Monroe. I mean, she is good looking but nothing amazing. Personally, I would take Emma Watson over Monroe any day of the week. This film clearly isn't for me.

Glad to hear that Emma Watson did well in her small part. She could get bigger roles but isn't really acting full time.

I don't know about "Orson and Me", but this seems pretty similar to "Me and Orson Welles". Ha-ha, sarcasm. No, but seriously though, good review guys. I can't wait to see it myself.

    Unless there's something waiting, Cyrus...

Yes, she would be the front runner for the oscar.  She *is* the front runner, right now...

But around the corner, heeeeeeeeeeeeeres Meryl!

The Iron Lady will be in full release in January, but (of course) it will be in limited release this month in order to make it eligible for the oscars (of course).

I saw the movie and thought it was great. I agree that the story seems unrealistic but it was told in a believable way.
