    Sequels should be made with the same budget as the first movie or even better less...Force the director to work for  a living. Hey someone on this site has seen Danger Mouse!!!!

    Uh, I hate to go against you guys on one thing, but have you ever heard of this tiny movie called Terminator 2? The actor who played the T-1000 was (and still kinda is) an unknown, but hwe proved to be formidable to Arnold. What do you say to that in relation to Jared vs Robert?

    They picked the perfect actor for Moriarty. Jared Harris is a great actor and very imposing. This movie should give him the credit he so deserves. Harris is a very underrated actor with a very unique voice. Can't wait to see this.

    The last one was one of last year's best films. Hopefully it's not like the hangover II where you enjoy it while you watch but then look back and go, "Yea, that wasn't all that."

    @Christian Bergman Jr.

    I'm inclined to believe that this is true. It seems to be, as someone once said, a case of the not-gays.

    Slow motion, lens flares, 3D, whatever. Bring it on. None of these are inherently bad it's just that some directors use them too much or for shameless reasons. Hopefully we won't see that here and will have a good balance of whatever's used.

    I think Irene was there just to remind us that Sherlock isn't gay.

    Yeah, I'm REALLY worried about all the slowmotion stuff ... even the general loudness actually.

    I adored the first one and think that Guy Ritchie is one of the best directors in the business. I never get tired of his stuff. I'm doing a re-review of the original next saturday and will go see and review the new one that night. I can't wait!

    As a huge Holmes fan, I loved the hell out of the first film. It's not quite as cerebral as the BBC series, nor does it pay homage so directly to the books, but it's a very fun and lively take on the character using the template of the character as a backbone and expanding out from there. RDJ's Sherlock is true to form but still surprising at times, which is great for a long-time fan. The only issue I have is that the writers of the first film didn't return - instead, this outing is being written by the Mulroneys, who's only real previous film was the indy "Paper Man" with Ryan Reynolds (which was... okay, not great IMO). They really don't have either the action pedigree or the character pedigree at this point in their careers, so I have to be slightly hesitant about this film's chances.

    @Reilly Voorhees

    You didn’t read my comment at all.  I said I LIKED it.  Kissing the butt is a phrase that I sometimes use to emphasize me or someonelse’s love for a movie.  While I think I should have phrased the last part differently, the point was Leon really loved the movie.   Got that.
