Why are people giving them shit over this movie, its there opinion and respect them on that manner, and to others that call them "cunts" for not liking this movie that was so bad that they waited to release for who knows how long, i have this advice to give: calm down take a deep breath and while your doing that just shove a dick in your mouth.

The Sitter was a good movie.  What won me over in the trailer and made me want to see the movie was the dialogue exchange between Soul Baby and Noah.  That's what kind of humor I expected.  I went to the movies, sat and watched the film, laughed, and walked out happy.  Your style of delivery is too informal for your reviews to be so harsh Spill Crew.  It was number two on Fandango so obviously a lot of people liked it.  I used to agree with you guys on a lot of your reviews, but somewhere something changed.

Of course they nitpick the movie, that's what every critic does.

Damn, meant to type "but they DON'T crap on dissenters".  So much for proofreading.  Sorry, everyone.

I'd rather a hilarious heartfelt yet (to some) nitpicky review (and let's face it, all art is subjective) rather than an unfunny restrained review.  I say leave that for the people who have to watch their Ps and Qs.  Regarding Spill.com, let 'er rip.  My opinion at any rate.  And not to rip on Jim Carrey or Trent, to me Jim Carrey's mugging will torpedo any enjoyment in that movie (ex. Ace Ventura, The Mask, and Grinch) while a movie where he genuinely acts (most recently for me was his voicework in A Christmas Carol (haven't seen Popper's Penguins)) enhances my enjoyment.  With The Sitter, it's improv style comes after years of such movies and can now seem stale.  I don't know why we all view art differently, but it certainly would be a lot easier to produce and direct a movie if we didn't and agreed to everything.  I don't dislike Ebert because he nitpicks but because he considers his opinion to be the only right one.  Here on Spill, even if its done with humor, the guys argue their points but crap on dissenters.  Case in point, Co-Host's love of Adam Sandler movies during the review of Jack and Jill.  (Sorry to write so long but I can't bear to start hitting the delete key, so here goes the cursor...)

I like to call this the Jim carry stage of the spill crew where instead of doing a actual review of the movie they nitpick the hell out of it just to spite the actor they deont like Roger Ebert did the same  thing with Jim Carry on nearly all his movie just because he did'nt like him....i like this site and all but you guys  are becoming way to bitchy in these reviews

Joe, I totally forgot about those two guys when thinking of bad movies.  Thanks for bringing them up again.  I'm already stoked at listening to Spill's review of their upcoming 3D movie.

maybe this movie isn't old and Sam Rockwell wanted to do it for fun and money and it isn't a big deal and you guys are critiquing the hell out of a film that is probably supposed to be for friday night laughs and stoners anyway?\

@Alice Wilson - Bucky Larson was a bad dream that we all had. It did not exist in the real world, like Tim Burton's Apes remake.
