    One, Luckily Tintin did just as well overall, and two, Co-host I'm a furry, do the words 49 and a half foot pole mean anything to you?

    Lets face it, chances are that although Tintin is obviously the more better, smarter and well written movie with a more memorable story and experience, it wont get anywhere even close to the attention by children as "Alvin and the Chipmunk: Chipwrecked". Kids these days watch nonsensically dumb incoherent garbage all the time such as

    (all of these shows are perfect examples on how and why children these days are losing braincells  daily. Also, how "Alvin and the Chipmunk: Chipwrecked" will make more of a profit then Tintin regardless on how terrible it is.)

    It's a damn shame...

    @09:00

    Cyrus, I've been saying the same thing for years. Even worse, on Lock Up on MSNBC an inmate in Kentucky, who had a history of praying on other inmates, said he found the look 'sexy'. That's right gangstas, wearing your pants low will get you caught by the police AND raped when you get to prison.

    Well shit. I got a nine year old nephew and a seven year old niece: guess which favourite aunt's going to be dragged by them to the theater to see this? You'd think not having kids of your own would spare you from movies like this, but nooooooooo. My sister just HAD to pop out three kids and assign me to movie-going-duty -__-;

    Every year there's at least one or two movies that I simply refuse to see! This is that. Great review guys, rock on!

    I feel the same way that Korey does about this movie franchise.  Why, why didn't the producers go the line of the successful Saturday morning cartoon and the animated movie?  Instead we see drivel.  I took my kids to see the second one in theaters and my parents went with us to the first one; I was sooooo ready to leave the theater after a point in both.  My son was in the room earlier and I played the trailer for him.  It is crack, he started tying off, looking for a vein.

    David Cross is really funny in both movies, too.

    I'd like to see the Chipmunks swearing on XBL. That'll appeal to kids these days

    So, will Chipmunks 4 see them meet their cousins, Chip and Dale?

    Guys.. two words:  GET DRUNK.

    I think that's the only way you'll survive.  Some movies are just better with alcohol.

    If there is a 13-year-old who goes out to see this over M:i 4 and Sherlock Holmes, as a fellow one, I will honorarily slap the crap out of them. A real 13-year-old (me and my friends) goes to see Midnight in Paris @ 10:00 PM and rents The Aviator from the library. That is how you live in the film world.

    um..... this will sadly beat tin tin.

  • December 12, 2011 at 10:19 PM, said ...

    Tintin will beat this (but maybe not Mission Impossible or even Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), but to clear some things up:

    • Chipmunks comes out Friday, and Tintin next Wednesday
    • The reviews for Tintin in reality are kinda "meh". 81% on the Tomato-meter, 54 reviews, mostly international reviewers, with a few outliers on both ends of the spectrum, but most reviews are in the 3/5 range.

    Co-Host is the only one that is angered by Alvin's portrayal of the NegroCommunity.
