I saw it. It's the best in the franchise. What I liked best: it was a team and things didn't go as planned. I want a BMW now especially with Paula Patton riding shot gun.

I disagree, 3 was not good at all, and most people I talk to can't even remember the 3rd one

    Just saw it tonight....

This is the ONLY Mission: Impossible movie that I like.  Brad Bird was a great choice here, I felt it was absolutely FANTASTIC.

I just got back from an early screening and it wasnt that good, they had some good comedic stuff with simon pegg but just wasnt mission impossible. #3 was a LOT better than this one and had way more and better action.

I feel that the studio did quite a disservice to this movie by attaching the DKR preview in IMAX theatres. The movie went from being "that pointless sequel but you never know..." to "that movie with the Batman clip attached to it." Will surely be good for box office but I don't think they respected the cast and crew when they tacked on a clip which will overshadow their work. Who's really discussing MI: GP at this point - the main, 2-hour feature? Where's the buzz? But, that 5-10 minute Batman clip? Hoo boy!

I'd go see this JUST because Simon Pegg is in it.

I am gonna go watch it on IMAX but you know why (unless you've been living under a rock).  I've never bought Cruise as an action hero (much less now with that hairdo).  I just hope it's better than I am Legend.

Fucking morons, DePalma's first movie was a GREAT SUSPENSE-THRILLER!!! Not an action movie. Part 2 was wretched cockspank. 3 was a fucking TV movie. Part 4 will suck.

Brad Bird's the main reason I'm stoked to see this movie too.  I'm also pleased to hear I wasn't the only one who hated MI2, although my main complaint were all of Woo's slo-mo shots.

Brad Bird is my favorite director in the world, no joke, and I really hope he can make the transition from animation to live-action blockbuster here.  I've never seen an MI film, but I'm hearing good things about this one.

That is one thing i will say i admire about Tom Cruise. He is incredibly fit for a guy his age. And that stunt that he did on the burj khalifa was insane. He has certainly earned my respect.
