Playing around while aboard a cruise ship, the Chipmunks and Chipettes accidentally go overboard and end up marooned in a tropical paradise. They discover their new turf is not as deserted as it seems.

  Now that I think about it... The Chipmunks have already been stuck on an island - it was during an episode of the 80's cartoon.  And I still remember this song from it...

  I don't remember anything about plot though.

  Thanks to the good direction of director Mike Mitchell Alvin and the Chipmunks 3 Chipwrecked is a surprisingly improved fun, hysterical and energtic sequel thats a lot better than the fun, funny but ultimately disappointing squeakquel.

   

  I give Alvin and the Chipmunks 3 Chipwrecked 4 out of 5 stars.

   

  A Full Price!!

   

  By the way I am just more optimistic towards movies like this.

  You know, there is a huge Chipmunk following on youtube of songs made to sound like Chipmunks, just about every popular or current song you can think of.  I haven't seen any of the movies (and refuse to) but I loved the cartoon back in the day and I gotta admit, I don't hate these remastered songs on youtube, although 1 day of listening was plenty.

  Also, I gotta be "that guy".  The songs aren't sped up, they are pitched up.  I wasn't going to say anything about that, but it was mentioned over and over and I thought people should know, it's easy as hell to make any song sound like a Chipmunks version.  I haven't tried the reverse, but I would think it would also be fairly easy to change it back to the original voices.

On the night he was killed he received a text message and went outside to talk.
