Saw this movie at a screening.  I have to admit, it was something I hadn't seen in a long time. To have the balls to do something like this in a time where we're surrounded by CGI and 3D takes a lot of dedication. At first I wasn't sure how I'd like it, since I'm not a huge movie buff, but it didn't take long for me to like this movie.

This is one of those rare movies that tries to make a love letter to Hollywood, and it works perfectly. Not to mention that dance number really was something to be seen.

In all, I'll give this movie a Better than Sex. I just can't see someone watching this and not appreciate what it stands for.

I'm tired of these titles. Where they just  take the lead role, what  they do and put a the in the way. The patriot, the pianist, the shooter, the fighter, and the list goes on. Personally I'm tired of it.

Did you actually see the film?

War Horse could've taken Korey back, but that was in color, with beautiful cinmatagraphy, and the spill crew gave it a rental. While  did not see War Horse, it looks like oscar Spam and it certainly is generic and silly.

As for the Artist, I like different, innovative films. But that's my opinion. In case you were wondering what those are, the spill crew, has a career of making opinions about movies and posting them online. There are a lot of films the spill crew hates, that critics love and vice versa. There is no smart critic. I don't know why the hell you were as ditsy and stupid to question an opinion. You can't tell if they're being honest enough. OK.

I sure hope you are satisfied that you are as arrogant as I am frustrated.

Odd, I was thinking the same thing about you (just counting your last two phrases) while reading your comment... You're the same one who said Billy wasn't entertaining on Let's do this. So yeah (...)

I just saw this movie and I must say it is truly one of the best movie of the year. 4 out of 4 t and yet I will say it not of everyone. if you not in to art house movie and the popcorn film  whit there is action and horror you might not like it again it not because it bad but because it not your test. it for people whole love to see a serious  movie.

Hi guys, I'm a French fan of Spill.com (living in Paris), I usually don't post very often, but I just wanted to say that I really appreciated that for once the Spill Crew tried to pronounce the director's/actor's names correctly (Michel Hazanavicus and Jean Dujardin - Bérénice Béjo has Argentinian origins I think, but here in France we say bay-joe, not bay-ho).

The movie was cool, Dujardin here is a big comedian/actor, maybe in the US you can enjoy it even more because you don't know him (he pretty much acts the same goofy way in all of his movies). The OSS117 movies are just great, but there might be too many French politics/history jokes for the foreign audience.

I was surprised you didn't think that the plot was a bit too simple, though.

Living in LA does have its perks. I had a small theater showing it just down the street. I'll be catching it sometime this week!

People love this movie, but there is a list started by fans to put the dog on the best actor catagory on the oscars.
