CO-HOST, YES! I completely agree with what you say about the ending, a big wolf battle would have actually taken away from the film as a whole for me. Such a good movie, HIGH FULL PRICE

Easy in my top 5 movies of all time. I loved the world they created, loved the actors performances, loved the death scenes, loved the incredible story, loved the small subplot with Liam Neesons wife in the movie, and loved the symbolism. I knew that it wasn't a straight up action going in but it was better the way it is. This may be all because The Warriors is my favorite movie ever (even with all the bad acting and stuff) but if you like insane movies, watch it.

There are some great performances. It does keep you interested to the end. But the fact that I was lied to about what type of film I was seeing. Why do that. I loved the Edge. I thought that was where this film was going. I felt that someone decided that this film isn't going to make us any money if we don't lie about what its about. I'm glad you guys loved it. But I really hate trailers that misrepresent.I can't forgive that so I give this film a low rental.

I missed a chance to see this in the theater. I just rented it and I have to say that the trailers outright lied. I thought this was going to be an action film and not some piece on death and survivial. I saw a film called Frozen that was more terrifying that this.

Fucking loved thismovie, Liam Neeson was fantastic, had the best crash scene I've ever seen, great metaphors, everything. And an ending that was perfect. It doesn't matter whether Liam neeson wins, the point is is that even if you have nothing to live for you can still be strong and go out fighting. And again, the twist about his wife I think made all those flashbacks make sense, cause my impression was she just left him, so I was kinda confused by why he cared about her so much.

I wasn't too interested in this movie initially, had no interest in a pure survival movie, but after hearing what it's actually like I'm pretty keen on seeing it.

I can see how Korey thought the wife flashbacks were cheesy, but i thought the reveal at the end was pretty heartbreaking and lead to a greater realization of who Liam's character was and what he's been through, so I forgave those moments like co-host did.

When I saw the trailer I thought it looked pretty damn stupid but when every review I read/heard said that it was totally different I checked it out and thoroughly enjoyed it.

The movie was great, I am a big man vs wild fan so this was a perfect movie for me. The action was tense and i found the characters interesting. Plus that first death seen was excellent!

Totally agree with Co-Host, this film totally stuck me and I cant stop thinking about it. Wasn't really expecting to like it and I completely loved it. I totally understand how Korey didnt love it, but in my book its up there as one of my favorites

Grey wolves are almost as big as male humans, if not quite as heavy, and they do fight in intelligent packs and they routinely reduce large animals like elk and moose to red grease spots in the snow. It's funny you guys found this hostile environment jarring - I work in it (in wolf country no less) fairly routinely and I'm here to tell you mother nature is fucking evil. We're shown all these pictures of clean healthy zoo wovles that look like big cute huskies, and I'm here to tell you when you see the real motherfucker on a ridgeline a hundred yards away? That CGI alpha male wouldn't feel so fake.

guys loved the movie but even with the post credit sequence it really doesnt do much for give you an ending. if anything it makes it just narrows ir down to 3 possible endings,
at the end of the credits it shows the alpha male (big black wolf) on its side facing away from the camera obviously covered in blood and you hear heavy breathing that you cant really make out as Human or Beast the implied conclusion is one of three one Liam's character killed the wolf and he is currently bellow the beast staying with it as it dies (mirroring the beginning of the film where he does to another wolf) option 2 both liam and the wolf are mortally wounded as they both slip off into death OR three the wolf killed liams character and the wheezing is him dying off screen. Also its only about 5 seconds long.... so really their isnt as much closure as some of these coments might have you believe.
END Spo
non the less excellent movie amazing cinematography and at times scarier than any movie I've seen in years. easy Full Price
