This movie had less of a plot than Transformers 2! I was tempted to ask for my money back on it. Though, we got the Avengers and Micheal Bay is no longer going to touch Transformers. Everyone wins!

I enjoyed this film. different tone in this movie than the first. more comic relief in this movie. these movies seem to have have an addiction to decaying bodies, jeez. the introduction of the Rider in this was just epic. however, the transitions in this movie became annoying. they also changed the backstory a bit. the subplot of the johnny blaze trying to control the rider actually seems to go nowhere. he also never uses his penance stare. this movie isn't bad, but it's not good either, it's just enjoyable.

I had a lot of fun. Cirian Hinds, Idris Elba, and of course the fucking amazing Nicolas Cage made this a very fun movie, without those three: Yeah, it would've been just a piece of shit. The cinematography was great, Ghost Rider the character was done right, and I very much enjoyed the villains. I enjoyed this much more than that first one.

    Matinee.

Well I watched this movie, got dragged to it.  The good....well Ghost rider does look bad ass, the sound effects are pretty cool and creepy as well.  The bad Acting, storyline, storyline, storyline.  This movie teased the audience with what a good Ghost Rider movie should look like with nothing filling it out.  Also Ghost rider looks cool, but the action is bloody pathectic.  Keep the special effects people and get rid of the rest.

I've read your conversations and I'm going to go ahead and say that you both need to chill out and step away from the keyboards for a bit. If you want to argue - do it through private messages or on your profile pages, but if I see this argument continued here, I'll hit you both with the banhammer until you can discuss things in a civil tone without resorting to insults and bickering back and forth.

Who's side do we take? We take the side of the entire rest of the site who has put up with these kind of arguments. Doesn't matter who's "right" or who's "wrong" - what matters is that everyone treats everyone else with a bit of respect and mutual sense of community. We're all on the same site here guys.

    @Rocket Joe!

Notice I haven't defended and barely mentioned Ghost Rider in this conversation.

Why are you still responding to me? That question goes both way, y'know. I'm partially curious how long it will take you to realize that you're behaving like an immature child. Like a 12 year old that saw one average movie, decided it was the greatest thing ever, then decide that anyone with a different opinion is a hipster or flat out wrong.

It's people like you that caused the creation of the "Shut the fuck up, Nolanites." group. People are sick of you and your delusions.

And who's "us"? You got a turd in your pocket? No one else is on your side. Everybody else that's responded to you thinks you're being a whiny little brat.

And since you seem to keep calling me a troll, I'm gonna re-post your comments to show you what an actual troll sounds like.

    Go Fuck Yourself!

You both should fuck yourself! And go to hell to get BURN!!!!!

I'm the one who's more mature than you guys, fucking hipster!

    They are so FUCKING WRONG!

I hope you enjoy your pathetic hipster life, with the lame ass favorite movies

I'm a mature than you are, there is no point I'm going to keep yelling on you. You Pathetic Hipster!

You are the troll by yourself, kid!

join team with the ass hole like you like Cumonass, ass hole! Because Spill.com would be better place without an ass hole like you. And please just accept yourself, that you are a real troll! HIPSTER

you need a better taste in the movie, kid. Because your taste in the movie really suck ass.

    Sound familiar?

And did you seriously threaten to tell the Spill crew on me? Do it, tell them to come to this comment section and read our conversation. I dare you. Who do you think they'll side with? All I did was say I like the film and tell you to stop acting immature, you told people to go to hell for enjoying a film.

And don't bother deleting your comments.

    @Rocket Joe!

There you go again being an immature hypocrite XD

You keep calling me a troll, what have I done? I haven't trolled anyone, I've been civil with everyone else on this comment section. I haven't come in here telling people they're "douchebags" or "to go to hell" or "fuck off" for not liking this movie. I only singled you out because you had such a conniption fit over people liking this movie more than your favorite, you insecure little bitch.

Lets see what a troll is:

One who posts a deliberately provocative message to a newsgroup or message board with the intention of causing maximum disruption and argument.

I never once made a comment with the intent of causing disruption and this doesn't even qualify as an argument. And if saying I enjoyed one movie more than the other is provocative then that's a problem with the immature, insecure fanboys (like you) getting upset, not me.

Your just butthurt that I picked on you. Maybe if you didn't act so confrontational towards people that had a different opinion from you, I wouldn't be picking on you.

Spill would benefit more from your leaving than mine, seeing as I don't tell people to fuck off or go to hell just for having an opinion. Seriously, you are a piece of shit, no joke. You and everyone else that thinks their  opinion is right.

I'm serious right now, you really are an immature, petulant, child. Do I need to show you your own posts? You say you're mature, mature people don't act the way you do.

You can keep calling me names and coming here and making an ass out of yourself, but at the end of the day, you really don't do anything more than entertain me and give Spill some revenue.

So keep dancing monkey, keep showing me how childish you are. You haven't disappointed so far.

I can understand why this movie gets hate. Leon is right, this IS the PG-13 plot to Drive Angry but the Ghost Rider was done right. He doesn't over power you like other comic book characters. He just keeps coming. Unlike most super heroes, the Ghost Rider is a vagabond. He doesn't have turf to protect is a higher level function. He's just there to be on the run.

I had to review this for my college newspaper. This film is fucking terrible. Some Ol' Bullshit.

Once again, it seems that I love a movie that the rest of the world strongly despises. This was personally a Full Price for me, but I guess this is the first time that I can say that I am the 1%, ho ho ho.

Also everyone: Carlyle was the one who liked the film. I read his twitter account and he enjoyed it as a piece B-cinema. A film that's goofy fun. But sadly, I have to disagree with him. There was nothing fun here, just plain boredom.

Just watched it. Damn man, this film sucked. It's some ol' bullshit. It's not worse than the first film, but it's equally as bad for different reason. The plot is slow as all fuck. Nicky Cage is so crazy that he becomes a fucking joke. The special effects weren't even that great. And holy shit, there are only two decent action scenes: one at the end of the first act and the other at very end. And they're not even that great!

Also plot details make little sense. At first they imply that Nicky Cage can't face daylight without it hurting him at the beginning. But later, he's chilling in the sunlight and pulling motorcycle tricks in the middle of the afternoon without any trouble. Idris Elba's character looked interesting, but he's underused and the film could have gone on without him. Also, there's a scene involving an order of monks just acting completely unrealistic and stupid.

The actual Ghost Rider doesn't even appear for long in the movie. And the Ghost Rider just screams in everybody's face without even kicking ass. The design looks great, but he doesn't do a damn thing. He just lumbers around while SOMETIMES whipping someone to death.

This is Some Ol' Bullshit. Avoid at all costs

I liked the look of this movie, I liked the characters, and most importantly I loved the Rider...but the story written by Goyer was very lackluster because he had so much wrapped up into the most cliche' devil story that I've seen not just in comic books but movies in general. And that's what made it feel so much longer than it should have because this movie is more about the kid than it is about anyone else.
